*Nnoitra's P.O.V*

You woke up with the sun shining in your face. You blocked the sun with your hand. 'God, damn it! I'm going to go blind in this world...' You thought, for you weren't used to dealing with sun before. You turned over and saw Hitomi still sound asleep next you. You widened you eyes as you saw the Grimmjow was sleeping next to her. You got up, walked over to his side of the bed, and tapped him on the shoulder as hard as you could. He jolted up. "What do you want?!" He said. "Shh! You dumbass, she's still asleep" You whispered forcefully. "Oh, sorry...." He said, looking over at Hitomi. You sighed. "Pay attention to me" You said, getting frustrated. "What?" Grimmjow asked, getting annoyed. "What were you doing sleeping next to her?" You asked, trying to stay calm about it.

"It wasn't my idea...That Kisuke guy said if I wanted to sleep in a bed, I'd have to use this one...." He said. "Well, then you should have slept on the floor" You said, angry. "Why should I have to sleep on the floor, huh? Why not you?" Grimmjow said. "Because your the cat, aren't you? and cats sleep on the floor! " You teased with a smile on your face. "You know I hate being called a cat, Nnoitra!" He said raising his voice. "Shhh! If you wake her up, she'll be pissed at you" You said, smirking. "Nnoitra, I don't--"

"Honestly, You two!" Hitomi shouted. You looked up at her. She was rubbing eyes. "Good God, I can't leave you guys alone, even when I'm sleeping!" She shouted, getting up and leaving the room. "This is all your fault!!" You and Grimmjow shouted in union. You looked at Grimmjow in annoyance. Grimmjow got up and walked out of the room, looking for Hitomi. 'He's such an idiot....' You thought. You walked down the hallway and into the bathroom where Hitomi was brushing her hair. "I'm sorry that I woke you up" You said. "I don't know why you have to start arguments with Grimmjow...Why can't you just get along with him?" She said, looking at only her reflection.

"Are you telling me that I should be nice to the one guy that wants to steal you away from me?" You asked sarcastically. "Yes" She said, bluntly. "Why should I? He starts half of them...I mean, I woke up to see him sleeping next to you...Right next to you!" You exclaimed. "Oh no, the horror" She said sarcastically. "You don't get it, do you?" You asked, seriously. "Get why you overreact every single time Grimmjow interacts with me? No. No, I don't" She said, grabbing a scrunchy and putting her hair up. "How do I look?" She asked, looking over to you. "You should know that I'm going to say your beautiful no matter what you look like" You said, smiling as you looked down at her. "Yea, your right....Grimmjow!! I need your help with something!!" She shouted. "What are you doing?!" You asked. "I need to know if I should keep my ponytail or just keep my hair down? And since you'll say I'm beautiful no matter what, that doesn't really help me much" She explained.

Grimmjow appeared at the doorway. "Yes?" He asked automatically, and then he saw your hair up. "Hitomi, what's with the sudden change of hairstyle?" He asked. "What do you mean, Grimmy? You don't like it?" She asked, whining. "No...it's not that...it's just...I'm not used to seeing you with your hair up...." He said. "Should I put my hair down then?" She asked, reaching for the scrunchy. "No, don't do that! Keep it up....it looks good....I can see your face more" He said, nervously. She giggled. "Thank you, Grimmjow...I don't need you anymore" She said.

Um, ok..." He said, walking away. "You mean, All you wanted was 'it looks good...I can see your face more'?" You asked. "Well, I needed someone's opinion on how it looked on me...Now, come on let's go!" She exclaimed. "Go where?" You asked. "You forget, didn't you?" She said, dully. "What?" You asked. "We're going to the Soul Society!" She chirped excitedly. 'Oh, that's right....Damn....I can't believe I forgot' You thought.

*Hitomi's P.O.V*

"Come on!!!" You exclaimed, pulling Nnoitra's arm, trying to pull him out of the room. You wanted to leave for the Soul Society immediately. "Right, already! We're leaving!" He shouted. "Yay!" You exclaimed. You walked down the hall and walked into the room where everyone was sitting at the table. "Oh, Hello there! I was wondering if you two were going to join us" Kisuke said, smiling. "I was just brushing my hair" You said, touching your ponytail. "I see that...You look good with your hair up" He commented. Nnoitra moved forward. "Calm down, wild guy" You said, watching him in the corner of your eye. He backed off. 'Geesh, I can't believe his behavior while I'm around other guys!' You thought.

"Anyways, when can we go to the Soul Society?" You asked, excited. "In about an hour...the senkaimon is stil unstable at the moment" Kisuke said, sipping a cup of tea. "Unstable? what's that mean?" Nnoitra asked. "It means if you were to go in there right now you'd be trapped in the Dangai" Kisuke said, seriously. "Dan-What?" Nnoitra asked confused. "The Dangai. It's the dimension between the Human World and the Soul Society. Once trapped in the Dangai, there's no way out" Kisuke answered. "Oh, joy" Nnoitra mumbled. "Oh, it'll be Ok, Nnoitra!" You said, annoyed at his negative attitude.

Once Kisuke left to go check on the gateway, you confronted Nnoitra about his attitude. "Can't you be a little more enthusiastic about the trip?" You said. "Trip? You think this is a vacation or something?" He snarled. "No...but I wish you'd be a little more excited or at least not negative about the entire thing" You said. "Why would I be excited for this?! I'm actually allowing you to walk into danger!" He said. "Oh, this again...I thought we already talked about this" You said. "I'm not talking about the Black Cloak man...I'm talking about the Soul Reapers" He said. "Really? Your worried about Soul Reapers" Grimmjow interjected. "I'm not worried about them against me, but I am with her" Nnoitra said. "What are you saying?" You said. "Let's say that we somehow get separated, you;ll run around like a lost kid and once a Soul Reaper finds you who knows what they'll do! Especially if it's a captain!" Nnoitra said. "Your saying that I can't take care of myself?" You said.

"I...Uh....That's....uh..." Nnoitra mumbled. "I can't believe you, Nnoitra!" You shouted, stomping away into the bedroom. "What! I didn't say anything!" He shouted. "Exactly" Grimmjow mumbled. "Shut up, Grimmjow!" Nnoitra said. "Don't fight!" You shouted from the room. You continued listening to their arguing. You couldn't take anymore of it and returned, furious, back into the room. "WILL YOU TWO JUST SHUT IT!!!" You screamed at the top of your lungs. "Hitomi..." Nnoitra said. "I'm sick and tired of this stupid rivalry between you two because of me! Nnoitra, I'm....breaking up with you" You said, getting quieter with each word you spoke. "Hitomi...What? No, you don't have to do that....I'll stop with the useless arguing, I swear...Come on..." Nnoitra begged. "No, I already decided! It's final!" You shouted, holding back tears.

"The gate's ready!" Kisuke said, in a singlong voice. He entered the room again and felt the tension in the room. "Is everything Ok?" He said. "Yea, everything's....fine" You said, walking towards Kisuke to follow him to the gate. Nnoitra stood there with his eyes wide.

*Nnoitra's P.O.V*

You stood there, stunned. 'Hitomi....Why?.....It's grimmjow fault!...No...I can't blame him....it's mine...all mine' You thought. "Um, you comin'?" Kisuke asked quietly. "Yea..." You said, following everyone downstairs to an underground training area. In the center was a giant square. "This is the gateway to the Soul Society! Now listen up for I have a few tips to give you!" Kisuke shouted. You stared at Hitomi. Her eyes were staring at the ground. 'I wonder what's she's thinking at this moment....Hitomi....Oh, Hitomi....I wish I could tell her how much I love her....maybe this is just a phase...and maybe after she's not angry anymore she'll come back to me...maybe' You thought. "Now remember what I told ya! Now good luck!" Kisuke said, as he allowed you all to enter the gate. You all ran inside the white light that illuminated from the gateway.

After running through a mysterious looking tunnel, you went through another illuminated gate. This time you were falling to the ground. You saw Hitomi ahead of you, screaming. "Hitomi!" You shouted, reaching out your hand and trying to catch her. "Don't touch me!" She shouted. You were taken back by her reaction. Suddenly, you all were falling closer to the seiraitai. "Get ready you guys!" Hitomi cried. "Huh?" You mumbled. "Ready" Grimmjow said. "Concentrate....NOW!" Hitomi shouted. "What are talking about?" You said. "Didn't you hear Kisuke? He said that you and Grimmjow would have to concentrate your spiritual pressure so that the strength of it combined would break through the barrier!" She shouted at you. Your eyes widened and then you reacted quickly and concentrated with everything you had in you. As you concentrated, you watched Hitomi. On the surface she looked calm, but you could tell by her eyes that she was scared.

Suddenly, all of you crashed into the barrier. The barrier tried as hard as it could to force you away. Just then, the tension between the barrier and the pressure exploded and for a spilt second a hole was ripped through the barrier. You all slipped through, but the explosion made you go separate ways. "Hitomi!!" You shouted as you saw her unconscious body fly away from you.
