[Maka's POV]
"Why did you follow me?" I questioned the curly head sitting in front of me.
"'Cuz I was hungry." He said, eating the fruit stew I had given him earlier.
"What are you going to do now?"
"What do ya mean?"
"Are you going to say here?"
"Nah. It's not liek I can either way."
"Well I'm not gonna let you stay here either way."
"Ya can't stay here, either."
I was shocked at what he said. What does he mean I can't stay here after I've been here for so long?
"It's not safe here."
"Of course it's not when you have a stranger with you."
I replied sarcastically.
He laughed.
"I'm da last thing you have ta worry 'bout."
"What do you me-"
I was cut off by a yawn.
"Yer stew was really good! Tanks!"
He said. Stretching, another yawn escaped his mouth. An laid down to go to sleep.
"What are you doing sleeping here?" I asked him coldly.
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Well, ya expectin' me ta sleep out there? Dat cat doesn't seem ya like me."
He has a fair point. I frowned, crossing my arms.
"Fine."
I got up from where I was and cleaned the food.
"Oh yeah." An said. My back was facing him, I was in the middle of cleaning the firewood.
"Wat's yer name?"
"I have no intention of telling you my name."
"Aww, come on! Pwease?"
Giving him no response, I continued my act of tidying up.
Once I was done and I faced him, my eyes came in contact with his.
"Tell me now?"
"No."
He pouted.
"Why??!? Come on!"
He sat up.
"I'm An!"
Beside him, appeared a small demon.
"And dis iz Vul."
The little guy smiled at me.
"We're travelin' toge'er."
"That's nice."
"So what's yer name?"
"I'm not telling."
He whined again.
"Come on, pwease!"
"No."
"I'm a guy after all."
He placed a finger on his chin as if he was in deep thinking.
"I might just attack ya in yer sleep."
He grinned at me.
Immediately after he was done, I pinned him against the wall. My sword was dangerously close to his neck. I locked eyes with him, glaring him down. My lips were pursed together, but lifted up a bit when I saw that I had wiped the grin off his face.
"I said I might! I won't! I'm sorry!"
He panicked.
"That's better."
I sheathed my katana. Wrong move.
His arms snuck up to me from behind as pulled me closed to his body. His hands held my wrists together, preventing them from moving much.
"Dis iz better."
He smiled, his face extremely close to mine.
"I should have cut you up when I had the chance." I snarled at him.
"Now, now, let's not say sinis'er t'ings when we're so close alweady."
"How can I not? I don't even know you."
"Ya know my name is An."
"I have no relationship with this 'An'."
"Really?"
I glared at him.
In an instant, he twisted my body around and now I was against the cavern wall. Before I could even say anything, he laid his lips on mine. Never had I felt so digusted in my life. I couldn't move, he pinned me against the wall. He was on top, my hands were intertwined with his. So, I bit him.
His head jerked back.
"Feisty aren't ya?"
He smirked. A bit of blood ran down his lips. He noticed and licked it off.
"I hate you."
"Ya've sparked my interest. I know!"
His lips curled even more.
"I'll have ya be my lover."
"I have no intention of relating myself with you." I repeated. He was seriously annoying me. I hate him. I hated the fact that he was so strong. I hated that he kissed me. But most of all, I hated how he, too, was sparking my curiosity.
"But we kissed."
"You forced yourself on me."
"You bit me in return."
"As I'd said, I have no intention of relating myself with you."
"Well, it looks like you might have to."
He loosen his grip on me.
"We have company."
I peered over to the cavern entrance. There stood three unidentifiable figures. They were tall and dressed in black.
"Sorry to interrupt your make out session."
They started.
Drawing out their weapons, they continued.
"But we're going to kill you lovers."
An squealed.
"They said we're lovers!"
He turned to me, beaming.
"Isn't dat-"
In a split second, An jumped back, barely dodging a dart that was thrown at him.
"Cute?"
His smile turned sinister.
"Wanna help me take car' o' 'em?"
He held out a hand to me.
Surprisingly, I took it and lifted myself up.
"Why not?"
I said. I had a lot of stress and anger in me right now and this was a great opportunity to get it out.
"However,"
I took out my katana.
"Just this once."
I said, charging towards them.
"Fine by me."
He said.
"Let's do this!"
