Shivanya was getting ready sitting infront of mirror. Someone knocked the door and she said "It's open"
Preeta came inside and shivanya saw her
"Arey maa" shivanya said and stood up
"Looking so beautiful" preeta said and cupped her cheek
"Thank you" shivanya said with smile
"These are the bangles for you ,socha tha adhrit ki shadi mai uski wife ko pehnaungi" preeta said and sadly chuckled
"It's okay maa,ab pehna dijiye" shivanya said and forwarded her hands
Preeta smiled and made her wear the bangles
"I know it's very heavy but adjust for today" preeta said referring Shivanya's dresss
"No maa,I'm loving this dress. I always wanted to wear heavy lehengas in my wedding" shivanya said cheerily
"Now get ready fast,adhrit is ready and he is downstairs already" preeta said
"Unka kya hai maa,kurta pehna paijama pehna watch pehni aur ready. Hume dekho kitna sab pehenna padta hai upar se makeup bhi" shivanya said in one breath
Preeta chuckled
"Okay baba take your time but your mama mami and sister have arrived" preeta informed
"What I'm coming in 10 minitues" shivanya said excitedly
"Okay" preeta left
"She is coming in 10 minitues" preeta informed everyone
"Arey beta you go and meet her" reva suggested aarna
"No no dadisa,we can't send her. Dono baaton mai itna kho jayegi ke muhrat bhi nikal jayega" ahalya said and everyone chuckled expect some of them
Shivanya was coming downstairs
"Here she is" aarna said and everyone's heads turned towards her
Adhrit's eyes were locked on her "I'll call you back" he said and cut the call without hearing anything from another side. He wasn't even blinking for once
Vardhan's eyes were also stucked on her. His heart started beating fast. But in no time he moved his eyes in another direction
Shivanya met her family happily, adhrit was still admiring her unknowingly
"Now let's start the pooja" reva said and everyone sat at the spot
Adhrit adjusted himself and panditji told shivanya to sit right side of him
Shivanya sat but because of her heavy lehenga she was uncomfortable her dupatta wasn't setting
Adhrit took the pallu of her dupatta and set it on his lap so she can seat comfortably. Shivanya was a bit shocked
"Ye achanak karele se gulabjamun kese ban gaye" she murmured
In some time,pooja was done. Pandit ji asked shivanya to touch adhrit's feet
She,without hesitating touched his feet. Adhrit was shocked by her this move
"A woman should touch her husband's feet" pandit ji said
"Why" adhrit asked
"It's a sign of respect" he replied
Adhrit, without wasting any minitues, bend dòwn and touched Shivanya's feet. Everyone got shock including shivanya
"Then respect shoul be mutual" he said moving back
"Ofcource " pandit ji said with smile
Then,they touched everyone's feet and took blessings
"Hamesha ekdusre ke saath khade raho" reva said putting her hands on them
"Dadisa,aap khush to mai khush" adhirt said holding her hand
After that everyone settled at dinning table
"Umm dadisa can i change my lehenga,it's too heavy" shivanya asked,almost tired
"Yes definitely go" reva said and shivanya left
Shivanya was about to enter in her room and she saw vardhan standing at common balcony, she approached him
"Vardhan" she called him out
"Yes" vardhan said turning back
"Umm..i know you must be sad" she said holding his hand
"No no" he said faking a smile
"I know you very well,but belive me sab itni jaldi hua i ...i didn't have time" she said genuinely
"It's okay shivanya, i understand " he said with smile
"I knew tum samjoge,itne acche dost jo ho mere" she said with relief
"Umm..do...do you genuinely love adhrit" he asked and Shivanya's face changed
"Actually...i..." but before she can say anything, adhrit came between
Adhirt noticed the hands placement of shivanya
"Shivanya baby,i thought you need help. And here you are gossiping " adhrit said in fake sugary tone
Shivanya got a bit uncomfortable
"Umm..no no i was coming only" she said and left Vardhan's hand
"Now let's go" adhrit said and put his hands on her bare waist
Shivanya felt shiver running in her body
"Umm...ye...yes" she said and fake smiled
Vardhan rolled his eyes
Shivanya changed her clothes and came out
"You didn't have to pretend infront of vardhan" shivanya said
"Hume bhi koi shaukh nahi hai,bas natak ka hissa tha wo" adhrit said and put his phone on charge "wese bhi phone charge karne aaye the"
"Whatever" shivanya said and rolled her eyes
After the dinner, Shivanya's side's family left.
"Everyone must be tired, go and take rest" reva said and one by one everyone left to their rooms
Shivanya and adhrit opened the door and saw their room decoration with flowers, candles and lights
They both got uncomfortable but shivanya being shivanya, started bickering
"Ye kon log hote hai jo ye sab karte hai,wo bhi pehli raat ko" she said anything what comes out òf her mouth to look unbothered by the setup
"Hota hai...shadi ki pehli raat yahi hota hai" adhrit said removing his watch
Shivanya's heart was racing fast
Adhrit pulled her by her waist and whispered in her ear "Let's celebrate our wedding night mrs rajvansh " she clutched her dupatta tight
His hands on her bare waist giving her chills
"Just...just stay away I'm not in mood to laugh" she said looking at everywhere but him
"Me too" he said and pulled her more close
"Adhrit leave me orelse...orelse I'll shout" she threatened him
"Don't worry,no will come as they know it's our that night" he said and winked
"Adhrit I'm telling you,I'll shout" she again threatened gulping
"As if i care" he said tracing her face with his fingers
He saw tear in her eyes,she was looking down
"Umm...i was just kidding,I'm not even interested " he left her and said
Shivanya ran to washroom
