When the sun finally came down and the stars were shinning bright. I could feel Chase staring at me.
I look up and his face is serious.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Never. Ever do that again. I could've lost you." He said on the verge of tears.
"I promise" I cross my heart.
"Okay good" He smiled at me and we watched the moon for hours.
At some point I fell asleep and I felt myself being picked up. I opened my eyes and I see Chase carrying me bridal style with a grin on his face.
"You don't have to carry me. I can walk you know?"
"I feel like being a helpful person today." He smirked.
As we got inside and he put me on my bed he laid down with me and I feel asleep on his chest.

When I woke up he was gone and I found a note,
"Don't cut. I went to school early.

Chase"
I smiled as I read the note.
I got dressed and headed off to school smiling as I was glad that I didn't cut this morning.
But I still wanted to know who put up those signs. Now I'm a laughing stalk at school. Thanks a lot to whoever did this.
I was thinking about it when I just remembered that the only one who knew was Sabrina. Oh of course it was her.
I marched up to her a slapped her across the face. A red marked stained her cheek. She held her face and said, "Bree I swear it wasn't me. But I know who did it and why."
I raised my hand to hit her again but I lowered it and nodded in agreement to at least listen.
When she was done telling me who did it, I was confused, angry and upset.
I just can't believe it.
Why?
How?
Why?
This doesn't make any sense.
Chase made those signs. And he thought he was protecting me.
