Q's love story 2

The Romance Begins.

"Thanks for coming to our anniversary party, everyone!" Beth announces to the Jokers, their family & friends who've gathered at the Quinns' place. "Hon, it's ur turn to speak..." Beth hands the mic over to Q who's trying to lick a 'pizza stain' off his shirt! "Oh...yeah! So, uh...we're gonna narrate our entire love story, 'coz Sal insisted!" Q continues. He's expecting everyone to groan in boredom, but everyone looks intrigued, so they begin: Flashback: The Jokers' high school:
"Sorry, I'm late to class again! Theatre class ran late again!" a young Q apologizes to his Maths teacher, amidst giggles. "Still playing Peter Pan, are we, Mr. Quinn?" the teacher sighs. "Oh, cr..crab!" Q mumbles, when he realises that he's forgotten to change outta his costume! He rushes out. When he returns, he's sent to the principal's office. He's introduced to the brightest student in school, Elizabeth Briggs. "She'll tutor u in maths & help get ur grades up, ok?" the principal explains. "So, u new here?" Q flirts. "Seriously?! I'm ur next door neighbor!" Beth glares at him. "Oh...right! Has anyone told u that u'd look better without those glasses?" Q tries to make up for not recognizing her. She pushes him away, feeling insulted. "My place, 5 p.m." she tells him before hurrying away. He meets the guys who tease him about the 'Peter Pan incident'! He decides to sit away from 'em on the bus to avoid any further embarrassment. "Hey! Is this seat taken, neighbor?" he asks Beth who's sitting alone. She moves aside & he sits next to her. "So,do u enjoy acting?" she shyly asks. "'Adsobeautly'...uh, I meant, absolutely! I was gonna say that, but I was distracted by ur beauty!" Q replies, trying to cover up his speech impediment! "So,u watch any plays?" Q asks her. "Yup! My fav's 'Romeo & Juliet'" she replies. "Gr8! We might be performing that next. Hey! U're beautiful enough to play Juliet!" Q moves closer to her & flirts. Beth blushes. "We're here, Q!" Bonnie, Q's goth friend exclaims. "I'll be right back! I'll just escort her home, so that she isn't bullied along the way. She's bullied a lot & I'm sorta her bodyguard!" Q whispers to an impressed Beth, before accompanying Bonnie. Soon, he's back & the bus resumes it's journey. As Q hurries home, he hears Beth's voice, " Don't forget..." "...our maths tuition, right? Ur place at five, see ya!" Q finishes her sentence & grins. "Yup!" she smiles, showing off her dimples (Q almost swoons!)
