"Argh! How do u solve this sum?!" an exasperated Q exclaims. Beth calms him down. They've been studying together for weeks, but Q's still having trouble with maths.
-flashback ends for awhile-
"Thank god! She had a lotta patience!" Q exclaims. "I still do!" Beth smiles. "Yeah, u require a lot of it if u wanna survive staying with this ape!" Joe jokes, gesturing to Q. "Ow!" he yells, as Bessie jabs him with her elbow! "Continue, guys!" she asks, politely.
-flashback continues-
"Let's take a break! Let's talk about something..." Q pleads. "Sure. Talk...about what?" Beth asks. "Do u have a boyfriend?" he asks, sheepishly. "No. I'm not interested in guys." she replies. "Oh! Girlfriend, then?" Q asks, feeling disappointed. "No! I'm not...I just prefer focusing on my studies!" she replies. "Well, u're too studious! Ever been kissed?" Q asks, moving closer to her. "No." she replies, blushing. "I bet that everyone in school's already experienced their first kiss, except u!" Q exclaims & nods his head in disbelief. He tucks a blonde lock of Beth's hair behind her ear. "Just looked outta place!" he mutters. She can't resist & presses her lips against his. Q pulls back. "It's getting late...see ya tomorrow?" he asks. "Yeah.." a bewildered Beth replies & places her glasses aside. "Told ya u looked pretty without 'em!" Q grins from the doorway. "They were just reading glasses anyway!" she confesses, shyly. He hurries out, before returning & peeking into her room a few minutes later. "Not bad for a first kiss!" he winks at her, before finally heading home. She blushes & eagerly waits for tomorrow- Valentine's Day. She hopes that Q might ask her to be his girlfriend.
-flashback ends-
"& I didn't!" Q confesses. "U idiot! U can't recognize anything!" an emotional Sal teases. "It wasn't his fault! Neither of us proclaimed our love for each other. But,u're gonna love this next part!" Beth grins. "It involves us both losing our..." Q continues, but is shushed by Beth! "Shhh! U're gonna ruin it!" she interrupts him.
