Bleach Oneshots [Requests Open]

Byakuya Kuchiki

His stoic expression faltered for a second when he saw her fall. Unsure what to do next he ran up to her, narrowly dodging the hollow.  She was still breathing, that was good, it meant she was still alive. Knowing how bad this situation was getting he raised his zanpakutō in front if him with his free hand.

"Scatter, Senbonzakura." The sword dissolved into petals around him, flying towards the hollow. The hollow was consumed by the petals, torn apart by them. After finishing off the hollow, the petals returned to his blade. Looking at the girl in his arms, slowly bleeding out, he tried to help her. She couldn't die- no he wouldn't let her die.

Byakuya stood outside the door as Unohana came out, frowning.

"Is she ok." His noble facade broke for a second, as Unohana made an unreadable expression.

"Yes, and no." Unohana cleared her throat.

"She suffered some fatal injuries, so truly it's up to her will whether she will live or not." Byakuya walked past Unohana to see her. She looked very peaceful lying in the bed. Byakuya pulled up a chair slowly drifting to sleep.

Byakuya woke up staring over at her, seeing her (e/c) eyes open slowly light fluttering over them. Byakuya smiled at her, as she turned surprised to see him by her bedside.

"C-captain Kuchiki! I'm sorry for I-" He kissed her silencing her talking. She blinked blushing a dark shade of red.

"It is me who is sorry (y/n)." She blushed even more.

"I should have been faster to save you, you were badly injured because of me."

"But you saved me, Captain. Thank you."

"Captain Kuchiki, your still here..." Unohana trailed off watching as he clung onto the poor girl's lifeless hand.

"I'm sorry, for your loss."
