CHAPTER 3

NIKOLAI :

"MINE", that's the only word I could think of since meeting that "krasivyy angel" ( beautiful angel ) two days ago.

For some strange reason, she made me feel things I had stopped feeling a long time ago.
In these past two days, all I could think about was her. She consumed all my thoughts

The past two nights I have had the best sleep I've had in years. Instead of living through my usual nightmares which don't let me sleep, I dreamed about her, about our first meeting.

I can still visualise her in that black knee length dress, the one that showed all her damn curves beautifully.

Her light brown eyes were so captivating, those bow shaped lips and her silky brown hair that reached just past her shoulders. Everything about her was mesmerizing. She looked to be at least 5'6 feet . I still towered her by a foot and 3 inches .

But then I saw her beautiful face that for some reason was stained with tears.

The mere thought of her crying and being in pain makes me want to kill the person that made my girl feel this way.

Third Person

Right now Nikolai's in his home office, waiting for Danny to come back with the information he asked for. Danny is his tracker, he has brilliant, exceptional skills and can find out anyone's past and location, all he needs to have is a name.

After coming from his club 'fade' that night, he immediately contacted Danny, wanting to find everything out about the "krasivyy angel" ( beautiful angel ) who caught his attention.

He was hooked.

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in," Nikolai called, and came in the one person he had been waiting for, Danny.

"Do you have it?" He asked, despite already knowing the answer.

"When have I ever disappointed you boss?" Danny smirks.

He was right though; every man that works for Nikolai is competent, loyal and trustworthy. The line of work he's in requires complete trust.

"Well then give it to me." Nikolai begins to get agitated, slightly losing his patience. It was very rare for him to lose control of his anger, but this girl is an obvious exception.
Usually while dealing with men like himself, he is very calm, composed and attentive - a professional.

It is never good for men in this business to be aggressive or temperamental. As for the past 18 years that he has been in this mafia world, he has learned to be observant, smart, calm and to never underestimate his opponent.

Now after all these years, he has mastered this art perfectly.

"Are you okay boss?" Danny interjected his train of thought, concern in his eyes.

"What do you mean?" He asked, not understanding as to what he meant.

"What I meant was, this is the first time that you ever asked me to pull out information about a girl. You never do the chasing; usually it's the other way around." Says Danny.

It was indeed true, he never even remembered the name of his flings, much less chase them.

In the past it's always just been a way of releasing his stress, but Nikolai had a very good idea that this was going to be different.

He surely wanted a relationship with her, his gut told him that this was going to change his life, and that too for the better.

"It's nothing, just give me the file." He snatches it from Danny's grasp, and shooed him away, wanting to be alone.

He started going through the file.

Name: Maya Cooper.

Birthday: 18th February , 1995.

Father: Dr. Jonathan Cooper.

Mother: Dr. Trisha Cooper.

Originally from: Arizona, currently living with her aunt.

Friends: Kiya Ronan and Nick Shergill.

Past boyfriends: Henry Miller.

Siblings: None.

Studying at: Eastwood University.

While closing the file, Nikola starts to think about their age difference.

"But that's not going to stop me from pursuing her",he said to himself, and his frown soon changed into a smirk.

He'd have to be careful, now that he has made his mind up about her
One thing was for sure, Maya Cooper will soon belong to him. And nothing in this world was going to stop him from getting what he wants.

Because what Nikolai wants, Nikolai takes...

With this he went to sleep thinking about her, dreaming about her, and not of the darkness and horrors that surround them.

Little did he know, that someone was dreaming about him also...
