*Lizzie's POV*
"Who's Esther, okay, nevermind, well, you guys might possibly be related." Tiff finally said.
I see Scott, not as surprised or as confused as I am, while me, on the other hand, is utterly confused, and surprised, speechless.
"Wait, you knew? Is that why you guys stuck with me the entire day, is that why you're not as confused as I am? What in the pizza lords is going on?!" I said, still very confused. "And Mitch, did you know too? Was I the only one that didn't know?" I said, starting to tear up.
I quickly grabbed the book out of Tiff's hands, and shoved it in my backpack, went to my bike and rushed home. What is going on? How could my own family betray me like this? I thought, tears forming and sliding off my cheek.
I opened, then slammed, the door to the house and ran to my room, confused, trying to process everything that is happening.
The doorbell rings, interrupting my thoughts, but then, thoughts go through my head again, Mom's taking a nap in her room, Jacob shouldn't be back home 'till 9, and I doubt Tiff still remembers where I live. I got up and went downstairs, I peaked my head through the window just enough so I can see them but they can't see me. Scott?
I open the door just a little bit, "What do you want?" I said, with tears still forming in my eyes.
"Lizzie," He replied, sounding worried, "I thought you knew. Apparently, I don't. Your mother, she is a nice person, but she didn't want you to go through something like this, something like your cousin being famous and you freaking out, I didn't want you to go through this."
"What do you mean? Why do you care anyways, it's already 7, shouldn't you be at the meet and greet, shouldn't I be freaking out because I related to a internet sensation."
"And doesn't everyone want me to date Mitch?" Scott said, earning a laugh from me, "The point is, just because this is all so sudden doesn't mean you have to take it in all at once, maybe every night, tell yourself that you're still a beautiful, normal girl."
I hear a yawn, Mom, "Hey Mom, how was your nap?"
"It was nice, to much stress from you and Jacob, mostly Jacob. Who's at the door, sweetie?" Mother said, sounding more awake than ever.
"Oh it's-" I said but got cut off by Scott.
"It's just me, Scott!"
"Oh Scott, sweetheart, hi!"
"UGHHH, DOES NO ONE UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM GOING THROUG?!" I yelled, getting frustrated and running out the door, bumping into Mitch, but I didn't stop, I kept running, grabbing my bike that I threw onto the grass and zoomed off to the apartment Tiff's staying at.

"You don't understand, I have been looking up to him, making him my literal life goals and then all of a sudden I get hit with the fact that we're cousins, it's literally NOT FAIR!" I said to Tiff as she was making tea in the kitchen, getting frustrated toward the end of my sentence.
"Darling, it's going to get better, I promise."
