"You don't understand, I have been looking up to him, making him my literal life goals and then all of a sudden I get hit with the fact that we're cousins, it's literally NOT FAIR!" I said to Tiff as she was making tea in the kitchen, getting frustrated toward the end of my sentence.

"Darling, it's going to get better, I promise."

"TIFF, IT'S NOT GOING TO GET BETTER, IT'S NOT GOING TO GET BETTER, NOT AT ALL!!" I yelled, getting even more frustrated.

Just as I was about to say something, my phone goes off with a text,

unknown number: Lizzie, where are you? We need to talk.

L: WHO ARE YOU AND WHY IS YOUR NUMBER UNKNOWN!?

unknown number: This is Scott, like I said, we need to talk.

L: I DON'T NEED TO TALK, ALRIGHT!?

S: It's going to get better, I promise.

L: Okay, fine, we can 'talk' but if I get frustrated, don't be surprised if I just storm off or start yelling.

S: Meet me at the park.

"You know what Tiff, I'll just go now, I'm not going to tell you where because...I just can't."

"But you haven't even finished your tea."

"Whatever, bye!" I said while running out the door.

****************

It's going to be okay, everything will get better.

No it won't.

Yes it will.

I have a mental fight with myself, while letting out a frustrated groan. "UGHH, WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO DIFFICULT!" I say, as I grab myself a spoon and sit down next to Tiff, sharing a carton of ice-cream.

"Tiff, I don't know what to do."

"Lizzieeeeeeeeeeeeee, you're taking this too seriously, now here's the real question: are you spending the night?" Tiff responded, she can be the weirdest human...

"Yes, Tiff, it's too late to go back home anyways. Lemme call my mom first though." I replied, standing up and getting my phone from my backpack.

*Scott's POV*

"Scott, she might never get used to that fact and you could keep trying but I think she just need some space. I know sad and overwhelmed more than anyone else in this universe and I know that she's overwhelmed." Mitch said, calming me down as I was in front of the sink brushing my teeth.

"You know what, you're right. I have been getting stressed out about the bus thing and how we have to stay here in New York for who knows how long."

"I know, I'm always right." Mitch sassed back.

"You really are." I said, plopping down onto the hotel bed next to Mitch's, just when I heard a loud banging on the door.

"SCOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT!! OPEN UP!!!!" Of course it was Kirstie.

"I'm coming, chill." I yelled back, getting up to open the door. And when I did, Kirstie skipped on inside and plopped onto Mitch's bed. I swear, she can act like a 7 year old sometimes.

"MMIIIITTTTCCCHHHHH!!!!!" She yelled even though he was legitimately RIGHT THERE.

"WHHHAAATTTT!!!!" Mitch mocked while I sat there on Twitter.

"I WANNA DO OUR NAILS TOGETHER!!" Oh my god, Kirstin, did you have 5 Redbulls before you came over here? Calm yourself. I thought to myself as she started jumping up and down, not caring about the other hotel rooms and how they could be filled with people.
