I have a twin.

We look so alike we are constantly mistaken for each other.

While having a twin sometimes rocks, there are some downfalls. For instance, last week I was put in detention in a class I don't even take because the teacher thought I was my sister.

“Well Sidney, rob any banks lately? Or are you Winter, the nerd?” The platinum blonde cheerleader smirked as her snotty little friends laughed.

“Move Wendy.” I mutter as i push past the girl who thinks she owns the school.

“Later loser.” She says as she and her group walks away. Me and my sister both have terrible reputations. Sidney always is getting into trouble. I used to be friends with Wendy until 7th grade when she turned into a mean stuck up girl. I walk over to my bestfriend's desk.

“Hi Winter." Ricky says as he sits in his seat.

"Hola Senor" I reply tipping my invisible sombrero to him.

"Sounds like someone has a spanish test today. Winter can i ask you something?"

"Sure Ricky."

"Tomorrow Clover is having a party and she invited me. She said that I could bring someone with me so how about you take a break from cleaning out the cinders and come with me... ” He said with a shy smile.

“That was sooo cheesy. Really? You thought of using a reference to Cinderella as a pick up line?” I giggled a little because of how cheesy that last line was.

“The question is- did it work?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

“It kinda did.” I admitted looking down at my feet. He put on a smile that I wish he had on all the time.

“Does this mean we are officially together?”

“It sure does but no blogging about it, that's my job as a teenage girl.”

I smiled as Ricky laced his fingers through mine.

“You dressing up for spirit day tomorrow?”

“Well considering it's clone day I might if Sidney does too.”

“That's not fair you're twins. Besides how am I going to know which girl is which?”

“I'll think of something.” I wink at him. The second bell rings for first period so I stroll to my seat. All the kids rush to their assigned seats looking sweet and almost angelic. It took all I am as a person to sustain from laughing. The slightly bald and short teacher, Mr. Howards walks in. Just by his posture I could tell he was in his normal, bad mood. SLAM! He closes the door making the whole class jump a little. Yep, he's definitely in a bad mood today.

“Today class you are going to write a paper on Shakespeare’s story, Hamlet. It has to have 786 characters exactly no more, no less. This paper is due tomorrow.” The class groans.

I pull out my notebook and start writing. Mr. Howards is my language arts teacher and I loved this class. Sure Mr. Howards has a horrible attitude, but it's my best subject. As I wrote I was in some kind of writing streak. I didn't want to look up once I started in fear of losing my train of thought. When the bell rang, signaling the end of first period, I literally jumped out of my seat.

“Nice one Snow.” Someone chuckles behind me.

“Brandon I told you not to call me that.”I turn around scowling before walking to math. Brandon is the most annoying guy on the face of the earth. He and I have always hated each other like a cat and dog.

“Why not? It really suits you. You both are cold and don't have a boyfriend.” Oh he did not just say that. I stop in my tracks then turn around to glare at me.
