Chapter 18

D Hi guys, I will try and make this chapter interesting, as I know my last one was a filler but I am rather excited for this new storyline xx ~Mai🍉(also my phone died yesterday whilst I was writing this so apologises that it was late xox)

Colette's POV

As I walked down the corridor, I saw Zosia looking quite pale, yet again. But this time she wasn't with Arthur. As I saw her run off to the Loos, I knew so.etching was up. Running after her, I heard the door of the loo slam and what I heard was Zosia chucking up her guts. As I knocked on the door, I said "Zosia? Are you alright in there?" "Col?" She replied. "I'm. I'm. Pregnant." She said. I was shocked with excitement. "Oh! Congratulations Zosia! You and Arthur will make great parents!" As I said that, she came out of the toilet with mascara running down her face. "What's wrong?" I asked. "It doesn't matter" she said betfween sniffles. "Yes it does Zosia or you wouldn't be in this state. I won't tell anyone" I soothed her as she fell into my arms. "Its not Arthur's baby." She said. "Whose' is it then?" I asked softly. "Its.. Its. Jesse's." She said "what? How did it happen?" I asked. As she started to break down into tears, I worried that he had done something to her, something unforgivable. "He didn't did he?" I asked, trying to soothe her. "No. After Linda's party. I didn't go back to hers. Me and Jesse went back to his. We snogged, and this happened. I don't know what I was thinking." She started to become quite distressed now and shouty. "I don't want my baby to have to go through wondering who their father is! I don't want Arthur thinking I'm still in love with Jesse!" She shouted. "Please Col, don't tell anyone. I think I might still be in love with him." She whispered. "If that's what you really believe, you need to tell Arthur. I'll come with you I you want?" I offered. "No its fine Col. I'll only end up yelling at both of you. But thanks. I need to get back to work." As she started to walk off, I noticed her eyeliner and mascara had smudged quite a lot. "Zosh, hang on!" I called. As I redid her eye make up, she thanked me and headed of onto the ward.

Zosia's POV

As I wondered back onto the ward, I wondered what I was goin to tell Arthur. I almost had finished texting him that I needed to have a word with him later but I was innteruppted by Sacha giving everyone their cases for today. "Right everyone, I want top working for today, as we have quite a lot of extra cases from the ED. There was a train crash and if any of you knew Dr Lane, also known as Chantelle, who used to work here, she was involved so if anyone has a relation to her, then I reccomend you stay out of the crash related cases. Thank you everyone, you can now continue with your work." Chantelle was Arthur's crush and best friend. He wasn't there for the meeting. I'm wondering if I should tell him or not. As I wonder over to see my first case, I realize it was one of my old teachers from primary school. As I started to say the usual welcome, she recognized me and started to chat to me. "So, Zosia, how are you doing?" She asked. "I'm doing ok, how are you?" I asked. "Oh I'm fine, I still work at Lymington primary school! What have you been up to?" She asked. Figuring she didn't know anyone here, I told her the news. "I'm goin to have a baby actually, but its a surprise, so don't tell anyone!" I asked kindly. "Oh that's fantastic news!" She said. As Dom started to call for me for a patient that had gone into cardiac arrest, I said catch up later to Miss Adams and jogged off to the next bed where Dom had already revived her and he needed me to scrub in as second doctor in her operation.

After the operation had ended, it was time to go. As I said goodbye to Miss Adams, I headed back to my flat. As soon as I got in, Arthur was yelling at Dom for not telling him that Chantelle had come on to the ward. "Zosia! Why didn't you tell me that chantelle was on the ward?" He yelled. "Arthur I was in and out of surgery all day and maybe I didn't want you fantasizing over your maybe still crush on her!" I yelled back. "Zosia why are you bringi g that up you know I didn't have a crush on her!" He started to shout. As he started to yell things about my exes, I finally yelled out something that I shouldn't have. "WELL THATS OK, BECAUSE THE BABY'S JESSE'S NOT YOURS. SO YOU CAN GO AND HUDDLE ROUND CHANTELLE ALL YOU WANT!" As soon as I said this, I knew I shouldn't have. As her started to get his shoes on, I asked him what he was doing. The only two words that came out of his mouth were "We're over." s he started to walk out o the house, I felt Dom's arm being wrapped around my shoulder, I shook it off and walked upstairs. My phone went off, I ignored it. When Emma got home, I made her some tea before she went to Abby's but made little effort to talk. Dom covered up Arthur's disapearance. I went to bed as soon as Emma left.
