Think of it this way: the entire 13 hour plane ride we've been having a blast with this new girl Delilah. She's cute, she's friendly, she's stylish, and she's got a sense of humor. Now everyone's having a good time except for one particular person, who refuses to put down a book that looks too difficult for someone her age.

I talked to her earlier and she seemed hesitant to talk to me. Delilah says it's because she's not good with people and is actually homeschooled. I don't believe it because Delilah's home schooled too, and look at her. She's blasting with an amazing personality.

Niall nudges my rib and I turn to look at him quickly. His eyes looking at me intently like he's expecting me to say something, but what would I say? There's really no hope for Macy if she's going to refuse to open up to me or the lads right? I don't have the obligation to grovel at her or anything. I'm find the way I am and she should try to be fun on her own accord. Unfortunately, Niall doesn't get the memo and nudges me a second time.

"What?" I hissed as I paused myself from listening to Delilah's funny story.

"You've met Macy?" He asks with a loud whisper. I know, it's crazy, only he can do it. A loud whisper.

"Yes, I have. What about it?"

"I think you mean, what about her."

"Whatever! What about her?"

"Is she okay?"

I turn my to look from behind me and she's the only one with the window open with the sunset dancing around her. She has a pair of earphones on and she's smiling at what she's reading. Long eyelashes and deep black hair. When I think about it more clearly, she looks like a porcelain doll and it's kind of scary to think about her that way because for some reason, she might break just by dropping her.

"Well, Harry?" Louis nudges me from the other side and I turn to look at everyone who's eyes were staring at her too. I guess everyone's secretly curious about her, hiding in the corner like that and ignoring us. Sure there are some girls who act cool under pressure around us but she seems completely comfortable and may have slightly forgotten we're here with her best friend.

"I think she's okay? I don't know. Delilah is she okay?" I ask the best friend who looks at her softly. Now I like girls like Delilah, ambitious and clever, with a good friendly personality. I love girls like her and I guess I'm kinda upset that she'd be leaving in a week.

"Macy's in her own little world again. She's reading the book and she's seeing it." Delilah explains.

"Seeing it? How can you see a book's story?" Niall asks.

"That's how she explains it, I'm not a bookworm myself either."

I turn to look at Zayn who might come up with an explanation but he looks just as clueless as I am. I guess she's a different kind of reader. "Do you know what she's reading Zayn?" Asked Liam as we quietly observe her.

"No...I actually don't."

Now that's a first.

"Why not ask her?" Delilah says happily. Liam stands up and fixes his polo. Oh dear, we're going to talk to her? But she definitely does not want to talk to us! And to be honest I don't want to push her at all if she's gonna treat me the way she did earlier!

Niall's standing up and so are Zayn and Louis. I guess I have no choice, do I? I have to stand up and talk to her again. Delilah's smiling, so if this makes her happy, why the heck not? Right?

Liam is the first to walk over to her and she seems so engrossed in the book that she's not noticing us at all. "Excuse me..." Zayn says quietly.

"Excuse me?" Louis says one more time.

Liam taps her shoulder and she finally looks at us. Me and Niall in front of her, leaning on the chairs. Zayn and Louis by the hallway and Liam sitting right next to her.

"I'm Liam."

"I'm Louis!"

"I'm Zayn!"

"I'm Niall."

"And yeah, it's me Harry."

"And we're One Direction!" We chorused with big smiles as her big eyes stare at us intently. She looks frightened and slightly shocked at our actions. I guess I would be too seeing as I was purposely seated at the back if I was her. She puts her book down and removes her earphones. A small smile comes out of her lips and she nods the same way she nodded with me earlier. "I'm Macy, it's nice to meet you." Her voice is barely audible and then I realized.

"So you don't hate One Direction! You're just a shy type!" I proudly exclaimed.

Yes, secretly inside my head I've been thinking she hates us with the way she avoided me. The lads look at me with their eyebrows raised and with Macy biting her lip and looking down at her shoes. "I didn't say I hate One Direction..." she trailed.

"I'm sorry." I replied in an equally quiet voice. This girl knows how to make things awkward and what kind of social skill is that? She's terrible at it!

"May-may! You finally talked!" Delilah comes crashing in between Niall and I with her face all smiles at Macy. The black haired porcelain girl smiles back at her.

"Can I sleep?" She said softly.

"Oh...Oh! Of course! Sure! Yeah, yeah it's okay to sleep!" Liam says quickly as he moves away. He urges us away from her and Delilah kisses Macy's forehead before joining back with us.

Macy did sleep like she said she wanted to.

But I can't help but feel like she's not too happy about what we did.
