It was a cold and dreary night.  The wind whipped through the tree's as if they were nothing. I was sitting on a chase lounge chair in my living room, watching as the storm blew through. Bad weather like this is my cup of tea. Although i was quite concerned about my parents because they were out in that storm going to dinner for their 18th wedding anniversary.

20 minutes went by.. and my phone began to ring. It was laying on my nightstand beside my bed, so I began to race up stairs assuming it was my parents. Lightning struck the house and the electricity went out so it was dark. Once i got to my bedroom door I saw some strange light glowing from underneath.

Before entering I grabbed the nearest object that was by me which was my mom's favorite vase.  I slowly entered the room.... I stood their in shock for a minute, i attempted to turn on the light but of course it didn't work considering lighting hit the house.

There was a strange portal at the foot of my bed, then a dark shadow appeared out of it. This shadow held out its hand, hypnotized by this portal I walked towards the shadow reaching out. The shadow grabbed my hand and pulled me in. I felt myself growing dizzy by the second, just spinning around and around.

I finally reached the end of this portal and landed on some soft grass. As i stood up a man appeared.

"Princess, you've arrived."

I stared blankly at him then replied.

"Princess? Huh?"

"We'll explain more when we get to the castle, your mother is waiting."

"My mother is at dinner with my dad, and most certainly is not at a castle."

"No, your mother is the queen. Just wait things will be explained in due time."
