When I opened the door I expected Derek and Rodney, I did not at all expect to be greeted by an extremely attractive male specimen. He was a bit shorter than me but he was built like an athlete. There was no way he wasn't an athlete because I could practically see his muscles through his loose fitting shirt. His eyes were chocolate brown, and I mean, what girl doesn't love chocolate?
My sister's boyfriend's words stopped me from checking him out when I noticed he was doing the same. Though he's loud and blunt and kinda rude I'd become kind of fond towards Rodney and his friends. He makes my sister happy and that's good enough for me. Plus their all really funny ,even though they curse and make inappropriate comments way to much, so if this new kids hanging out with them he must be at least somewhat cool.
" Hey I'm Jay " he introduce himself. Hmmm thats a good name for him sporty and cool. It described him perfectly at a first glance. He had a unique sense of style considering he was wearing a hoody and it was at least 89 degrees outside. I giggled at that before answering, unfortunately I have probably the worlds second ugliest giggle ( my friend Lucy's being the first ) and I think he noticed because he smirked.
"Layla you two have to help out too" my sister called. I saw him smile at me, due to my sister ruining my introduction.
So instead of truism to start over I said " lol yea so I'm Layla and we should really go help"
"I always aid the damsel in distress" was his reply.
Hmmmm so he thinks he's smooth. We'll see
Line Break__________Line Break
2 Hours Later
After we finished putting all the meat in the fridge and the boys were leaving Jay came over to say goodbye.
" Hey so meeting you was really cool and I'd hate to have to wait til your parents buy another cow, so could I get your number?"
"Lol sure" I gave him my number and a hug and they left.
"I'm glad your trying again Lay", Laura was saying once they left " you deserve to meet a boy that'll treat you right".
I thought so too.
