"Who are you texting?" Came from behind my ear as I was texting Jay back.
"Oh uh no one" I answered as I slipped my phone in my pocket and turned around to see Chad standing there.
"Lol ok I guess come on the movie is about to start." He beckons and I go over to the chair next to his in my movie room.
As soon as I sit down he puts his arm around me and I reluctantly lean my head down to his shoulder.
Now I know what everybody's thinking and before you get all judgey me and Chad are.....complicated. We've been talking for a while now and I know he likes me but I don't know if he's the guy I want to be in a relationship with. He showers me with gifts and affection and time but he's also kind of a... well he's kind of a tool. He's a bit clingy and he's kind of a wuss. For example him and all my other guy friends are sooooo scared of Rodney and Devontae when honestly there such nice guys. Well... Actually there nice to me and each other but that's about it. Plus they are deeply involved in gang activity so I could actually see why he's afraid. But still it'd be nice if he could at least pretend he was a real man. I was thinking about all of this when my phone buzzed again. I got off of Chad to see who it was even though he tried to stop me and groaned in protest. (See what I mean by clingy). A small smile erupts when I see that it's Jay.

I literally busted out laughing at that last one.
"Babe you ok?" Chad asked confused
"Uhh yea I'm fine it's nothing" I said still not sure how I feel about him calling me babe. I thought about what I want to respond to Jays message. I could pretend to be offended but what he was suggesting even though I know he's joking, but I hate those girls. Maybe I should text him back something flirty hmm.... Yep that's it so I text him back and out my phone on silent and spend the rest of the night watching movies with Chad but somehow....still thinking of Jay.
