Defiance

What?

These demons are getting really powerfull. Not even bill could find our hideout, now these minor demons find it no problem. I usually believe in everything, but I don't believe in that kind of coincidence. As we all ran to our rooms to get our weapons, I noticed that ford disappeared really fast. He usually always carry's his weapons with him, where did he need to go? Nevermind that. I need to get my pistols and find out what is going on. When I got to my room, I quickly opened my dresser and grabbed my two pistols with some ammo. Then I crept out of the room, and finally saw the demons. I must say, in all my experience I have never seen any demons like this. The first one I saw was a white wolf with light blue stripes down her sides, with glowing yellow eyes. Well that had bill written all over it. The next two I saw were really weird. They were almost identical phoenixes, one purple with glowing blue eyes. The other one was orange and red with orange glowing eyes. Demons sure like glowing eyes. But the weirdest thing I noticed was there was only 3. Didn't Ford say that there was four demon signatures? If so why was there only 3 demons. That didn't make any sense. They were standing in a crevice on the roof. It looked like they were talking in some sort of weird language. When It looked like they were done, the two birds flew into the hole while the wolf one jumped in. As soon as they touched foot on the floor Ford started shooting at them. He managed to startle them but he missed most of his shots. Then everybody started and when the fire died down, the demons were gone. Wait what?! How could they just disappear? Then I saw that the purple Phoenix was about to attack pacifica. "Pacifica look out!" I yelled as I threw a net at the bird, since I was still reloading my pistols. The thing barley had time to react before a net was over top of it. It started making a weird noise. Then I felt a sharp pain in my arm. I looked down and saw that the other Phoenix had scratched my arm and was desperately trying to get the other one out of the net. Reacting out of shock I threw a net over the other one too. By that time everyone was out of their hiding place and was looking for the last demon: the wolf. It took a few hours but we eventually found it in the laboratory. Before it knew we were here, Wendy shot a extra powerfull demon net on it. Soon the demon was in the net trying to struggle free to no avail. When all that was over, I finally looked at my watch. 7:34. Oh man, the sun's beginning to set. Soon the djinnis will come out for there nightly watch. We better have a solution to the hole in the ceiling before dark. If those djinnis come in this area, we will have two things too deal with. Speaking of that, those demons have finally stopped thrashing in the nets. Good, they were starting to get annoying. When we got back to the conference room, moonlight shone through the hole in the roof. Something was off about the room. It seemed like something was in here with us. I think the others felt it too, because we all came to a stop. Looking around the room, the only thing I saw was darkness. Suddenly the wolf in the net gave off a loud howl and it scared everyone with the silence in the room. Then in the middle of the room, there was two glowing blue eyes staring at us. As everyone stood there in shock, the eyes made all of us levitate off the ground. It flung us all onto the walls, knocking almost everyone out except me and Pacifica. As it so happens, me and Pacifica also landed by each other. Looking around, I finally saw the creature behind those menacing eyes. It was a demon that was in the shape of a wolf, with blue symbols all over it's body. Slowly it walked over toward the other demons and ripped the nets off them. When it got done it turned to me and Pacifica,as if it just realized that we weren't knocked out. Me and Pacifica desperately tried to reach our weapons, but it was no use. When I looked up from my struggling, I could see that the demon was right in front of pacifica, watching her as she tried to get her weapon. "pacifica, don't look up" I said slowly to her. Ignoring my advice, she looked up and almost screamed but luckily she didn't. Staring right into her eyes I could see that pacifica was extremely scared. I couldnt blame her. Then it started sniffing her hair. Wow, that's extremely creepy. Then it turned it's gaze towards me. Slowly it started stalking towards me. Beads of sweet trickled down my forehead. When it was right in front of me, it felt like it was staring into my soul. ItsIts almost as if his eyes had hypnotized me. I couldn't look away from its gaze. Then it started to lean closer to me. It sniffed my hair too, but stopped when he saw my necklace. He stopped and looked at it, like he was angry at it. Then he looked me in the eyes again and my vision went black.

Why did she have that horrid thing on her neck. Quickly I made her go unconscious,so I could take the dreadfull necklace. I slowly took the necklace off her neck. What are you doing!? You know what that thing could do to us! Jasper yelled at me. I ignored him though, and stared at the necklace on the ground. Cmon Jasper, you know he won't answer you. Don't you remember- "stop" I said to Jake. Those twins can be very annoying when your trying to think. Then I felt a cold body lean up against mine. I knew exactly who it was. " don't try to make me feel better mystic. I know that they are right and I should get rid of it, but we could gain a lot of power from this" I said to mystic. She always had a way of making me feel better, but she can't do that right now. Oh come on renegade, I know that you make the best decisions for us. But is keeping this thing really the best decision right now when we are in this......situation. Mystic did have a point with that one. But no matter, we must keep this from bills hands no matter what. And I know exactly how to do that.

One quick thing, these characters I did make up but did not do the art for them that you will see. Hope you enjoyed the chapter! It was kind of crappy, but whatever. Peace! ~GFMaster
