Chapter 14 Getting ready

Midnight pov

Ashley opened the door and I walked out with out saying a word I saw her noise was broken I bet Morghann did that. Then I looked over to the left and saw a dead body it was me. "Hey what the hell is that?" I pointed to the dead figure of me with shock on my face. "Oh that's a trick so your friends think you're dead your going to be our secret weapon." Ashley said as she got some guys to clean up the mess. "I'm going to go outside for some air I'll be back." She nodded so I went out side and got air think of what have I done what will they think of me when I show up for this war?

Julie pov

We got home safe but I'm still crying I just lost my sister what was I going to do I only have Leti left. "Lets get ready get your best armor and your best weapons it's time we strike back at them." Morghann said as I went to sit down. "What are you crazy they will bring up down in one hit we aren't ready." Cherokee stated as she walked up to Morghann. "We will never be ready! Now we are even weaker with out Midnight but there nothing we can do now is there!" We all stayed quite knowing we really couldn't do anything. Ring ring "I got it." I went up to the phone and answered it. "It's the counsel, they say they can help they're going to send all the best warriors to help and to get ready to fight."

Midnight pov

"The angels have ruled for way to long it is our turn to rule this world! I want every one to be ready by tonight cause at dawn we are going to strike." Ashley yelled so all could hear her and they all cheered expect me I don't know why but I didn't I felt bad still. They all started to push and shove one another trying to get to the storage area to get ready but Ashley came over to me and said "Here I got some thing special for you." She showed me to a back room and opened the door showing a full black body armor that was fitted just for me and it looked beautiful. "Oh Ashley I couldn't it's just so." "Go ahead be ready in 10 mins I want to show every one with you in it." I nodded and closed the door this is so cool! I tried it on and looked in a mirror too see just how good I looked in it and to see if my powers where good with it. First I tried the shape shifting to make sure that it didn't tare it and it worked next I tried my element power and prefect! They all worked so I opened the door to find Ashley in the same kind of outfit but a bit different. It looked really nice on her. We went to the front of the club and on the stage and Ashley calmed every one down and yelled. "Midnight is my second in command if I am busy please go up to her she will tell you what you need to do." They all cheered my name and I finally felt like I belonged.
