I went the whole day without seeing Josh or Ashly or any of her friends. After school Kyle an I were walking to his car when my volleyball coach walked up to me
Hey steph!

Hey coach.

The whole teamed missed you.

I know, I'm sorry.

Don't worry we still did ok, I was wondering if you could play this year?

Looking down at my arms I said
I don't know coach.

He looked at my arms. You ask your doctor what he thinks then you let me know, and you could always just be a manager.

Ok coach.

I got into the car an Kyle turned to me

I don't think it's a good idea.

I know, I don't think I'll play.

I'm just looking out for you.

I know. I sighed I missed volleyball but playing this year probably wasn't a good idea. I wanted to do it so badly though. the drive home was silent then he cranked up the radio and my favorite song came on, centuries by fall out boy. I started singing at the top of my lungs, then burst into laughter when the song was over. then Kyle and I walked into the house and he disappeared into his room without saying a word. That's really weird he never does that. I brushed it off and went to my room, I was so tired that the second I laid my head down I was out like a light.
