Five days had passed since Jae broke the news to Reita. Since then, he's been giving her the cold shoulder.

"Why's he so salty though?" Tomo, Jae's best friend asked, as they looked out the window to where Reita was.

"I can understand... I left him for five years and I barely came back. Of course he'd be mad." Jae answered with a sad expression.

Tomo rolled her eyes and tapped her finger impatiently on the desk. "What an idiot."

"H-hey! Please don't talk about Reita-kun that way!" Jae frowned.

"I was talking about you." The redhead said, much to her friend's shock.

"W-what?! Me?! B-but why?" Jae asked, confused.

Tomoko sighed in annoyance, and shifted her position.

"Jaecchi, what is it that you want to do in the future?" Tomo eyed Jae with a serious expression. Jae gulped.

"I-I want to be a scientist like mama..." The silverette answered nervously.

"You have what it takes to be one. Going to Mioda Academy would help that dream become real. Are you going to let Miura Reita destroy your dream?" Tomo slammed her fist on the desk, causing Jae to flinch.

"N-no, but..." Jae struggled. What could she say? Her best friend was right.

"Anyways, if he really cared about you, he'd support you instead of being a salty asshole." Tomoko continued, leaning back in her chair. "He's pissing me off. I'm like, four seconds away from going down there and stepping on his face."

"T-Tomo-chan please don't..." Jae sweat dropped.

After school had ended, Jae hurried to change her shoes at the genkan. She was hoping to catch up to Reita, as she wanted to clearly tell him that she would attend Mioda Academy, even without his support.

"Where is he?" She thought aloud, as she exited the school building. Students were leaving the school in large groups, which made it harder for her to find him.

"What are you doing?" a familiar voice asked curiously, as the person tapped Jae on the shoulder.

"Ah! Ameri-senpai!" Jae cried, nearly tripping on her own feet as she backed up, startled.

Ameri was one of Hibari Kyoya's children. While she looks like her father, she is much more lenient than he is, though she upholds the title as the school's perfect, just as her father had.

Her twin brother, Yuuki, had no interest in being the perfect, but was secretly training under his father's wing to be an S-class hitman.

"Ameri-senpai, have you seen Reita-kun anywhere?" Jae asked nervously.

"Hmmm. Miura Reita, huh?" Ameri put her index finger on her cheek and furrowed her brows. "I believe he went home early. Saw him while I was on patrol earlier."

"W-went home early?! Seriously?! Why?!" Jae groaned in frustration.

"Calm down, Gokudera Jae. You could always go to his home and talk to him there." Ameri suggested.

"Go to... Reita-kun's home?" Jae repeated. Ameri gave the silverette a quizzical look and nodded slowly.

"I can't... I feel like that'd make it even worse." Jae sighed.

"Hmm... Well, whatever it is, surely that brat will understand. Anyways, I have work to do." The perfect turned on her heel. "Ah, by the way, I'll see you at the Vongola party, I hope." And she was gone.

Jae plopped on her bed, tossing her bag off to the side.

"In the end, I couldn't tell him." She sighed.

Would she even be able to later? When's the next time she'll see him? It was already the weekend.

"Ah, that reminds me, what was Ameri-senpai saying about a... Vongola party? What is that?" Jae thought aloud. Was it some sort of festival? Perhaps she'd ask her parents.

It was dinner time, and the trio sat at the dining table, eating.

"So how was your day at school, honey?" Tae asked curiously.

"It was okay, I suppose." Jae answered.

"Just okay?" Hayato raised an eyebrow. "Usually you have a long story to tell."

"Well... It's just some stuff happened. Nothing much." Jae laughed it off. "Oh, uhm... Earlier, Ameri-senpai said something about a Vongola party. What's that?"

Tae and Hayato looked at each other with wide eyes, then back at Jae.

"Uh... Well..." Hayato started, albeit nervously. Tae rolled her eyes.

"Sweetie, do you remember your Uncle Tsuna?" She asked with a calm expression.

Jae nodded.

"Well, he is part of this, well... Organization. Actually, he's the boss. Anyways, he's having a party soon." Tae explained.

"We were gonna tell you later, but I guess it's better you found out now." Hayato sighed in relief.

"You're only saying that because you don't know how to explain things." Tae smirked, causing her husband to blush.

"S-shut up!" He groaned, embarrassed. Tae glared at him, prompting him to apologize.

"Reita-kun, won't you come out to eat?" Haru whined. "It's so lonely! Your father is still in Paris! Mama is lonely!"

"Not hungry." The pinkette answered.

Haru sighed and gave up.

Reita stared at his phone's wallpaper. It was a picture of him and Jae as children.

"Leaving me again, huh?" He tossed his phone to the side and closed his eyes.
