Star Struck

The beginning

Kevin was walking in the field opposite his house. His birthday party had just ended and he was thinking about how he just turned sixteen and his parents had got him a motorcycle. As Kevin was walking he saw a giant, glowing meteor. Now him being the aixteen year old he is got curious and touched it. Suddenly there was a bright light and then...nothing. The meteor was gone. He ran home. Luckily his parents were asleep. He ran to his room and locked the door. He sighed and went to bed hoping that it was all a dream.

The next morning he woke up and went to the bathroom. When he got there he looked into his mirror and screamed. His normal brown hair was gone and was replaced by a whitish-blonde colour also his sea green eyes were now a silverish-blue. Luckily his parents heard his scream and rushed to his room. When they got there they had the same reaction he had.

"Kevin, what happened to you?" His mother, Keira shouted.

"I have no idea. Last night I was walking in the field and saw this giant, glowing meteor.  I touched it and then the glow covered me amd the meteor was gone. I thought it was a dream." Kevin said. His parents were standing there in shock.

"We'll figure this out when you get back from school." His father, Jimmy said. Kevin nodded and his parents left his room and he got dressed and went to school.

When he got to school all his friends were asking what happened to his hair and eyes. All he told them was he got drunk at his party, dyed his hair and got coloured contact lenses. The bell ran and they all went to class.

"Good morning class. We've got a new student, her name is Yukina Davids. She transferred from the all girls school Henderson High. Please come in Yukina." Mr . Andrews said.

The classroom door opened and in came a girl with whitish-blonde hai and silverish-blue eyes just like Kevins. She looked very shy but also kind and gentle.

"Hello my name is Yukina. It's nice to meet you. I relly hope we can be friends." She said in a small and shy voice.

"Okay Yukina please sit next to Kevin. He is the boy with the same hair and eye colour as yours." Mr . Andrews said. Yukina nodded and walked over to the seat next to Kevin.

English went buy in a flash and Kevin found himself talking a lot with Yukina. He found out the reason she has the same hair and eye colour as him was because she also found a meteor the same night as him and touched it. They both enjoyed each others company during maths and physics. When the bell ran for lunch, instead of sitting with his friends in the cafeteria, Kevin was sitting with Yukina outside next to a huge apple tree.

"So how come you transferred to Rosewood Academy?" Kevin asked.

"I transferred here becuase I used to be bullied at my old school for being into boy things like skateboarding, street dancing and karate. As you know Henderson High is an all girl school so none of them liked the things I did and they started bulling me. I eventually told my parents that they were staring to physically abuse me and they transferred me here so that maybe I won't get bullied. That's also why I am so shy." Yukina said with a sad face.

"Hey, don't be sad nobody will bully you as long as I'm around. Okay lets change the topic. Why do you think there were meteors on Earth without anybody noticing anything?" Kevin asked with a thoughtful look on his face.

"I don't really know but it is very strange that nobdy else noticed anyhing." Yukina said.

The two of them contiued talking until the bell rang. The two then walked togther to art class. Kevin told her that their art teacher was lazy and all he told them to do when they got to class was to draw. The two got to the class just as the bell rang for the period to srart.

"Take a page and start drawing what you feel." Mr. Grover said in a lazy tone.

Kevin told Yukina that they do this every day. Yukina and Kevin ended up drawing the same thing. Snow, ice and a shadow of a person standing in the light.

"Woah! Yukina thats amazing. You didn't tell me you could draw and it's exactly like mine." Kevin whispered. Yukina blushed from the praise.

"Thanks, yours is awesome too." She said.

"Hey so you want to come to the placd where I found the meteor?" Kevin asked.

"I'd love to." Yukina said.

After the bell rang for the end of school Kevin and Yukina were walking to the field were Kevin found the meteor. When they got there they found a box glowimg just like the meteors. Kevin picked it up and opened it. Inside was a big book, two ear pieces, two communicating watches and two iphones. They put on the ear pieces and watches amd put the iphones in their pockets.

"Hey lets go to my house and read the book. My parents won't be home for hours." Yukina said. They alked to Yukinas house and went into her beroom. The walls were white with snowflake designs on them.they sat on Yukinas bed and started reading.

"Long ago Earth lived in piece with the people of the stars. They thought that stars were only huge balls of gas floating in space but were wrong. The star people were kind and helped the Earth people with everything they needed. The star people had great powers.  They could control ice , snow, air, light, plants, water and also had super strenght. They also had a great power which was...To control space itself. They star people helped the Earth people against hurricanes and snowstorms als by growing plants and crops for them. They all lived in peace until a great evil came and controlled the Earth people,  making them kill all the star people. There were only two star people left who sealed their power away into two meteore before they were killed. When all the star people were killed the great evil left in frustration because the last two star people sealed their power away and the meteors were never to be seen again. Just before the last two star peopke were killed they hoped that there meteors would be founf and used to defeat the great evil and save all mankind. The Earth people felt regret even though they didn't know what they were doing. One man wrote this book in commemoration to the srat people. The man sealed this book away because the Earth people did not want to be reminded of what they did. ro this day people don't know if there are any star people left, hopfully whoever finds those meteors will defeat the great evil and fufill the star peoples last wish."

"Woah! Thats amazing. So we are the people whi found that power. We are the ones who have to destroy the great evil." Kevin said. Yukina just nodded.

"Lets hope we can get use to this power and protect mankind." She said. Kevin nodded and smiled. Yukina smiled back.
