Min's pov

Well, dad and I got along pretty well and he cleared up the misconception I have. I thought that he's seeing someone behind mum's back when she too, had lost her memories. In fact, he actually went back to mum's hometown in Taiwan to personally fetch her childhood friend.

It's been a week since I left Vancouver and the event that happened there still plays on my mind.

To that evening when Lay came to find me.

I really didn't thought he would go that far...

*Flashback*

"Naeun why can't you stop being stubborn and just come to me? Why can't you just, see that?"

I was still looking down on the floor and I didn't realize that Lay had leaned his face towards me.

"I'm, sorry. I'm, really sorry Lay. My feelings, I just can't. It feels like I'm cheating on Kris." I felt, guilty. I like Lay, I really do. But my guilty conscience told me that I'm cheating on Kris, though we're not in any engagement.

Lay suddenly cupped my cheeks and roughly pushed his lips towards mines. It doesn't feel right. I tried to shove him away but he gripped my cheeks tighter.

He licked my bottom lip for entrance. I wish he would stop. I really had no other choice at that time as his left hand held my nape so I wouldn't escape and his other hand is placed on my waist and it slowly slithers upwards. Too dangerously close. So I kicked him in his family jewels.

I mentally apologised to him and took the opportunity to quickly run back to the hotel.

I heard Lay shouting, "Naeun, don't go, please!"

But I continued running without looking back.
