After a very interesting flight having to sit next to Cole, I was actually laughing and smiling as Cole and I walked out to get our luggage. Yeah, he is pretty cool and funny. And to think, I wanted to kick him so hard that he wouldn't be able to have children. Feelings change I guess.
"So what actually are you here for?" Cole asked while looking for his luggage. What could I say to that? The truth? Hell no. If I told him the reason why I'm here is because I am going to dress up as a boy to find out if I'm a good actress or not....He might think I'm weird.
I want to follow in my mom's footsteps, not beause of the fame and fortune, but because I actually like acting. I have a talent, at least that's what people say. But the only way I can think of to prove to myself that I really have what it takes to be in the acting world is to be able to fool a school full of guys that I am in fact a short, brown-haired all-american boy. I know, it's cazy right? At least that's what Casey thought. I mean I don't know where I even got the idea, but I'm creative like that. After awhile of her thinking about it, she finally decided to help me. I was very grateful for that, for I have no idea how a guy thinks. Casey has some idea since she dates a lot and has an older brother. Me? I am an only child and I have never been on a date with a guy. It's not that I haven't been asked out it's just I'm never sure if a guy is asking me out because he likes me or if he just wants a chance to meet my mom.(a/nRemember, her mom is famous) So I just never dated.
Anyways, Casey was excited for me. She said it would be fun to be able to hear what guys say when they're with buddies. When I told Maddi, she was so excited I could almost hear her jumping up and down when I called her a month before. Maddi, Casey, and I are best friends. Maddi moved away in eight grade and we haven't been able to see each other much, but we still act like nothings changed.
"Um...visiting a friend for awhile...you?" That technically wasn't a lie. I was here to see Maddi. In fact she was going to help me style my hair and get me to look like a boy.
"Oh I'm here for school. I just came back from summer break and I'm just going back to my own personal hell," Cole responded with a smirk.
"Oh school can't be that bad right? I mean it's just about eight hours of teachers telling you to be quiet, and yapping about crap that we don't even care about. What can be more fun than that?" I added with a hint of sarcasm.
"Oh yeah, that's where the real fun is," He rolled his eyes and made a disgusted face and I laughed. He's really funny. He may still be an butthole for what he did on the plane, but at least he doesn't bother me as much.
I see all my luggage and grab it. I smiled at Cole and was about to say good bye when he cut me off by saying,"Can I have your number?"
"Uh? Why?" I responded.
"Because even though you were like really mean and violent when I first talked to you, I think you are pretty cool. So I thought maybe we can hang out sometime before you leave." He kind of looked nervous and I could see a little red on his cheeks. Is he blushing?! Aww that's cute.
"Um...sure" Cole immediatly smiled at me and showed his perfect teeth. I smiled back and he began digging through his jean pocket. He pulled out an iphone.
"Ooooh fancy phone," I looked at it. It really did look pretty fancy and cool.
He laughed and handed me his phone and I had trouble getting the phone to turn on. Damn fancy looking phone that doesn't even turn on!
He chuckled and pushed a button on the side of the phone and brushed my hand with his before putting it back to his side. Would it be weird to say I liked it when his hand touched mine? I mean he is pretty hot. Maybe I could date him. What! No Tori! You have to focus on your future of becoming an actress, not some boy you barely know. No dating. ...That still doesn't mean I can't hang out with him. Right? Right.
