HEY GUYS! I'm sorry I haven't written anything in awhile and I hope you like this chapter. It's pretty short and I'm still not that confident on my writing skills, but anyways I got this inspiration on this chapter and decided to just write it out so... Comment and vote if you like it. And have a great Saturday or Sunday...do not know where you guys are so...yeah haha :D WARNING: Not Edited.
"So, how is it being a guy?" Maddy asked. She called me on the phone to ask how everything was going and since Cole and Aiden were gone, I could finally talk in my regular voice.
"Oh you know, just great. Except for the fact I have one roommate that is an annoying little prick, but you know what are you gonna do?" I replied sarcastically. Maddy laughed and I can just imagine her rolling her eyes right now.
"Uh-huh. I think my little Tori has a crush on her roommate. Just try not to drool over him because if he's not gay, then he might be a little weirded out by some guy doing that. Well if they actually think you are a guy. Do you think anyone's suspicious? What are you gonna do if they find out? Will they kick you out? They can't just kick you out, I mean you paid good money for this school, they can not just do that!" There's Maddy for you, always talking a mile a minute.
"Okay first of all. I do not have a crush! And second of all, I don't think anyone thinks I'm a girl. Although I thought Cole recognized me at first, but I guess not." After I said this, Maddy immediately asked questions of who was Cole and why he would recognize me. I then told her that Cole was the annoying roommate, and how Cole was the same person she met when she picked me up. Right then was when she squealed and said that it was 'fate' that I met him again and he was now my roommate. After ten minutes of arguing about how I do not, I repeat, DO NOT like Cole, I said good-bye to her and hung up the phone. I then flopped on my bed and sighed.
"Hmm..that seemed like an interesting phone call," I heard from behind me. I froze immediately, but not before noticing that the voice was obviously Aiden. Ah crap. I slowly turned over on my bed and sat up and looked at a smirking Aiden. Does every guy smirk or is it just my roommates that do, because I am seriously fed up with that. I coughed and said in my manly voice(barely), "Hey man, was up?" The only reason I am remotely freaking over this is not because he heard my half of my conversation which consisted mostly of me saying to my friend how I am not attracted to Cole, but because he heard me talk in my normal voice, which by the way is not manly at all.
"Oh nothing, what's up with you?" He smiled at me in that knowing way. I just shrugged my shoulders and prayed that he didn't know my secret. Nevermind, he knew and now he's going to tell the Dean and I'm going to be sent home and the Dean is going to contact my mother and I'm going to be sent to therapy because she would think that I was completely crazy, which maybe I was.
"Okay, so unless you are like Justin Bieber before he hit puberty, I'm guessing by the sound of your voice on the phone that you are not a guy?" Maybe I could hit him with a shovel to knock him out and then maybe when he wakes up, he won't remember a thing. Hmm...yeah two problems with that. One, do not have a shovel, and two, with my luck he would remember everything including me hitting him with a shovel, and instead of being sent home, I'd probably be sent to jail. Wouldn't my mother be proud?
"I'm going to take the silence as a yes. Damn, and you were a pretty good looking boy too. Well I guess you do have a very girly looking face. Anyways, what the hell are you doing? Dressing up as a guy?"Aiden just looked confused, but at least he isn't running off to tell the Dean, yet. So I begin telling him why and he stood there, taking everything in and looking completely amused.
"...and that's why I'm here." I finished. I better start packing my bags now. I start heading to my suitcase and start to put my clothes in it. I was about to, but a hand on my shoulder stopped me. I turned around and saw Aiden there with a smile and he said the most wonderful words I never thought I would hear from him, " I'm not going to turn you in. With you here, this year will be very entertaining, plus you seem like a pretty cool girl- I mean guy." I smiled and hugged him until he pushed me off saying how he couldn't breath.
"Thank you so much!! I am so going to be your best friend!" I jumped up and down and squealed. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I Tori Johnson who prides herself on not being one of those annoying girly girls, squealed like a little five year old who just got an icecream cone.
"Okay, I said I wasn't going to turn you in, but seriously if you want to stay here, then you need to stop doing that. Jeez, you are such a girl," Aiden said while rolling his eyes. I punched him on the shoulder and he winced and rubbed his hand over the spot where I hit him. Yep this is definately the start of a beautiful friendship.
