"Stop!" The voice yelled, sending chills down my spine.
I wasn't going to let them distract me. I stepped one foot off the rock.
"Don't do it! Please!" The voice begged, getting even closer now.
"What do you care? You don't know me!" I shrieked, tears pouring down my cheeks.
"I don't, but people love you! Don't do it!" He pleaded, grabbing my hand.
I yanked my hand away, looking down at the feet.
"You don't know that!" I screamed, trying to once again step off the rock.
The guy flung himself towards me, undoing the rope from my neck and pulling me to the ground, me embraced in the strangers arms. I instantaneously flung my arms around him, crying my eyes out on his navy blue sweater.
"Shh, it's okay. Everything will be okay." He comforted me, rubbing little circles in my back.
He lent against the tree, me cradled in his arms like a baby. I looked up at his emerald green eyes, looking directly into mine. His brown floppy curls were gently blowing in the wind. He gently smiled a warm genuine smile at me, my eyes smiling back at him instead of my mouth.
"I'm so stupid." I blurted out, my puffy red eyes producing more tears.
He gently wiped them away with his thumbs, moving a loose brown curl away from my face.
"No you're not. You are just going through a tough time. You are in no way stupid." He softly told me, stroking my brown curly hair.
I looked at the sky, his arms wrapped around me, not letting me go. I truly didn't want him to. He made me feel comfortable, and that's a feeling I don't feel ever so often. The way his brown curly hair flowed in the wind, his bright green eyes sparkled in the sun. Everything about him is just perfect. The only thing is, is that I have no idea who he is. He is a complete stranger, yet he has made me feel better than any other person has made me feel. He was the Perfect Stranger.
