{Indigo's P.O.V}

I woke up to a puddle of urine around me Ew wtf ?. I forgot that I was sleeping right in the middle of Cody and Josh (both of them still pee in the bed) . The smell of their pee was making me gag . They needed a bath , so I shook them awake and made them come to the bathroom . I helped them get out of their clothes because they were still sleepy . I took off Cody's shirt and I noticed large bruises on his stomach . "Cody why are there bruises all over your stomach?" I asked in a serious tone. "Did Someone hit you?". "Mommy let Mr.Dwayne babysit us , and I kept crying because I didn't want to stay with him so he told me I was being bad so he starting punching me in my tummy. And it hurt." Cody whined while sucking on his thumb . I closely examined Josh's body and he had bruises on his stomach and 2 bruises around his neck .

"O My God , Guys I'm so sorry" I whimpered with tears running down my cheeks . I grabbed Cody and Josh into a hug and sobbed .

I feel like I'm letting my brothers down . I'm not doing a good job at protecting them and taking care of them , even if it is supposed to be a mother's job .

One thing I know for sure is that I can't let my mother marry that man .
