How It Began

"Do you like like girls?" The mother asked in an accusatory tone. This made the young third grader uncomfortable and feel like she was in trouble. "No..!" SHe stated with a forced disgusted face. Rose had never even known you could like girls instead of boys. Was that real? Was that okay? Now that she thought about it, she had only befriended these three girls because their 'leader' was attractive.

"You can't cut your hair short, Rose." The strong looking woman stated, speaking to her daughter of now twelve years. "Why not? It's too hot on my neck and I hate brushing it!" Exclaimed the small, but chubby girl. Her big purple eyes looked to the red headed mother curiously, "because, boys need something to grab onto."

Rose was thirteen, closer to fourteen when she began sending inappropriate pictures. It was to a boy she trusted, thought of as her big brother. He was olde and made her feel pretty whenever she did as told, so more and more pictures were sent. She liked feeling wanted, she liked not having consequences. Despite her mother's hate and uncertainty of this boy, Rose talked to him anyway and continued to send him these pictures. Though this continues later.

Years had passed since those two awkward conversations, until Rose had been going into ninth grade and had gotten with a girl. This girl was named Molly. And Molly had curly hair and loved her chubby features, which Rose thought was the best thing since she had felt uncomfortable with her body most of the time. The two had done things like kiss, make out, give each other hickeys, feel each other up, and even get each other off. However, Rose hadn't really felt any loving feelings towards her first and new 'fuck buddy' and that's what aided in tearing up their friendship. Not only that though, this girl, Molly, knew a girl who was recently known as her ex best friend. Rose and Molly were to meet with this girl and many other people at the mall in cosplay. Rose was so set to hate this ex best friend based on what Molly told her, but when she caught sight of the girl dressed as an amazing character, looking so exact to the outfit, she couldn't help herself. All night Rose was being goofy and trying to impress the ex, let's call her Sarah. Sarah was taller than Rose, but not by much, and she had short hair with brown eyes.

Rose and her friends had just been sitting around on the floor in a part of the mall that was hardly used. Sarah and Rose had hardly spoken on account of the purple eyed girl's shyness. Finally people were beginning to leave and as Sarah got up and said her goodbyes, Rose finally said something as she was walking down the stairs. "Hey, aren't you forgetting something?" Rose asked with a bit more confidence being as she could always say she was just trying to be in character. Sarah stopped and turned to the blonde girl, looking confused. "What am I forgetting, dear?" She asked, looking embarrassed when Rose had leaned down from the higher step and turned her face, pointing to her cheek. "I don't think I got a proper kiss goodbye." Rose added, which Sarah had replied "oh, I guess not." Then obliged and pressed a small kiss to Rose's cheek. Just as the brunette turned to leave, Rose spoke. "Hold on, what about your number?"

Rose had really liked this girl from the start, and ended up dating her for quite a long time. It was a bit hard being that they went to different schools, but they managed to hang out. Though it was wrong, they had sleepovers and would do nothing more than cuddle and maybe kiss a bit, but nothing more.
