I woke up to the sound of a banging on my window. I looked over at my clock on my night stand and it was 2:48 am. I grabbed my pocket knife from my drawer and walked to the window.
I pulled the blinds back and saw Gracie outside. I opened the window and she crawled in with her heels in one hand and her handbag in the other.
We sat in my bed for about 15-20 minutes. She told be that her boyfriend picked her up and he was drunk. He had his hand on her leg but she didn't care until he moved it up to her "area" when she told him to stop he pulled over and tried to pull her on top of him and she wasn't strong enough to stop him so she started hitting him over and over again until he let go then she made a run for it.
Why she came to my house I don't know but I wasn't complaining. She asked if she could stay with me for the weekend since it was a Friday night and my dad was gone for the weekend.
I told her it was fine and I would drive her to her house in my truck to get some clothes and her feminine products.
We got in the truck and she started thanking me for helping her out and being there for her. She gazed at me for a while and then said,
"Bryce, drive into that field over there."
I did as I was told and then she unbuckled her seat belt and go on top of me. She took her shirt off and then in the distance we heard sirens, and right then an Amber Alert went out on both of our phones saying "Missing Child, Age:16

We looked at our phones then at each other and we must have had the same idea and we drove off..
