"You two have a connections."

Madam said that before she left the house but I remained sitting here, in deep thoughts.

She didn't explain what she meant by that, all in all I get her. I know what's she's trying to say.

But then.

What kind of connection is that?

I asked myself, launching another round of my glass. It was my fifth glass after that disccusion. I felt like I needed more blood for some reason.

That kid, she's always in my head. And I was bothered by that. I want to hate her because of the task taking care of her but I ended up to protect her, to like her, to take care for good reasons.

I shut myself for many years. I didn't care for some people. I don't care for my clans too. But here she is, bothering me, without me to notice it.

The flashbacks from the incident came into my mind. That dream too.

"Master." I was in shocked and gape from her. I didn't notice that Chain was here.

"Chain! How many time are you going to suprise me?!" I exclaimed gulping the last helping of my wine glass.

She starts with her chuckle. "Sorry for that Master." Then there goes her I-want-to-stop-laughing face so I glared at her and frowned.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You need to sleep, sun will rise any minutes now." She says, grabbing my glass from my hand and placed it to the sink.

"I'm not sleepy." I pouted while leaning my chin to the marbled table. "I don't want to sleep." I added.

"Don't be so childish now, I don't want to take care of two kids this days." She teased. Finished cleaning the glass and put it on her favorite closet.

"Where's Jade?" I timidly asked. Burying my face on the table, leaning with my arms.

"On my room." She answered. Walking through my side then grabbed my right arm.

"What are you doing?" I deadpan.

"You're wasted, so sleep in your room not in that table." She firmly said, her hands on my waist and my arms on her shoulders.

As we continued to walk on the stairs.

"Blood wine sure is perfect, taste like cherries, yes. But don't ever get toxic on it." Chain reminded me as she help me to get on my coffin, my bed.

"Sure thing." I timidly said then smiled.

She chuckled, removing my black boots and coat.

"Now. Get some sleep, Master." She says as she led the cover of my coffin to my side then closed it.

As the darkness crept inside my place. I closed my eyes, trying to relax and get some ease.

Few moments then on.

"She's the lost soul."

I heard Eve's voice echoes in my head.

Jade.

I get off of my coffin then headed to Chain's room. Obviously, I sneaked in where Jade is.

As I opened the door.

I saw her pale white skin, her white lined hair, her empty gaze, her body leaning to the window glass.

I guess she notice my presence coming to this room, though she was busy staring outside the window.
