A/N: I'm writing this because I. Can't. Freakin. Sleep. So sorry if it's terrible, I'm running on coffee and three hours of sleep.

Dean buried his head under a thick pillow, hoping to block out the wailing coming from another room in the bunker.
Aw, crap, he thought. The baby.
They had recently found a baby while on a hunt (long story) and kept her. Not permanently, god no, but just until they could contact child services. Sam or Dean wouldn't have kept her at all except for the fact that Cas had begged. And Dean could never say no to his angel more-than-a-friend for long. So now they had to deal with this. Every. Night. As hunters, Sam and Dean got 4-5 hours of sleep a night. With the baby, 3 at the most.
Dean groaned and tried to block out the screaming, hoping Sam would take care of her. Nothing.
Dammit, Sammy, Dean thought, standing up to get the baby.
Then the crying stopped and Dean heard light footsteps making their way to his room. Dean expected to see a grumpy Sam in the doorway but instead got a bleary eyed, bed head Castiel. Cas was rocking the baby, humming something Dean couldn't make out.
"Hello, Dean." Cas whispered, careful not to wake the baby.
"Hey, Cas. I can take her if you want." Dean reached out his arms to hold her. Cas shook his head.
"I'm fine."
Dean sat down on the edge of his bed and patted the spot next to him (IN A NON-SUGGESTIVE WAY CHILL OUT). Cas sat next to Dean, the bed creaking slightly.
"I think she needs a name." Cas said, looking at Dean expectantly. Dean nodded reluctantly.
"Any ideas?" He asked the angel.
"Mary, after your mother. I always liked Mary, and her heaven."
Dean gulped. "That's-that's a great name, Cas."
Cas smiled, making Dean's heart skip a beat. Without a word, Cas got up to put Mary back to bed. Dean thought that that was the end of there late night conversation, but Cas returned again.
Dean sighed. "Cas, you're not watching me sleep. It's weird."
Cas' face looked like a kicked puppy. "Of course, Dean. My apologies. I'll be leaving." He made his way to the door. Dean sighed again.
"You win this time. C'mere." Dean pulled the covers over him and lifted them up to invite Cas to lye with him. Cas smiled and wriggled under the blankets. Dean wrapped one arm around Cas' shoulders and Cas nuzzled his face into Dean's collarbone. Dean kissed Cas' forehead and listened to the angel's breathing become slower with sleep.
"Love you, Cas," he whispered.
