The Last Time

Diapers

Dawn had been in the shower, suddenly Bea had started crying.

'Got it!' I told her.

Then it hit me... more like my nose, Bea's diapers needed changing.

I've never done this before.

I removed the adhesive strips from her diapers, and an explosion of stink hit me. Nako naman anak, Kung di Lang kita mahal. I got some wipes and cleaned her. Hard part's over. Wrong. Bea started peeing on the new diaper and well my shirt.

Suddenly I heard a giggle from behind me.

'Kanina ka pa diyan?'
'Oo, ang cute mo Nga eh, ako na nga. Diba no my angel, it's papa's first time kasi no? He doesn't know how. Don't worry I'll teach him how you like it. Babe, watch'

She went through the whole diaper tutorial.

'You're such a natural' I said.
'Mommy taught me how kasi and siyempre I have to learn for my little angel, next time your turn'
'But you're so good at it! Ikaw na.'
'Aba at nang bola pa. Hindi, next time ikaw na. Tsaka paano Pag Wala ako?'
'Eh di sa assistant ko'
'Kawawa naman si Mark, ikaw na gumawa, ikaw yung Tatay, gusto mo pa ng basketball team diba? Panindigan mo yan.'
