The Last Time

Of firsts.

Babe, may taping ako ngayon. Might be home kinda late, but don't worry, I didn't forget, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Said the note he left on the nightstand with a rose and breakfast. The sound of Bea's giggle through the other door woke me.

Hello, my darling. Aren't you happy today. Well, mama is too!

Bea started babbling incoherent words and finally made out the word mama. My baby's first word was mama.

I started to cook lunch, and called Richard's PA Mark if he could take visitors in today. And he said the set wasn't tight at around lunch so the little miss and I could visit papa at work.

I placed everything in tupperwares, packed Bea's things and went to location.

Only there were no camera's, no set but a set up by the beach, with Richard greeting me. Happy Anniversary my love.

Akala ko ba you had taping? I said.

Well how would've I set up all these if I stayed at home?

How'd you know I'd even call Mark to drop by?

Well, I didn't really plan for that, the original plan was for him to call you about an emergency. But since you called, I told him you could come visit.

Sayang naman the food I made?

What do you mean Sayang? We'll still eat them.

Eh you have food prepared.

Well at least now we have a feast. Don't we little miss. I missed both of you today.

Well we missed you too. That reminds me! Guess what the little miss did today.

She said her first word.

Mama. I know, I taught her that.

Huh? What do you mean? And why didn't you tell me.

I wanted you to hear it from her first. Remember, when I wake up in the morning to feed her. I tell her that her mama's the most beautiful girl. And mama's the kindest, sweetest and most loving. Papa is so lucky to have mama. I guess too much of the mention of mama, until it stuck.

Talaga Lang ha, well mama's pretty lucky to have papa too. Happy first anniversary Babe.
