Mysterious Adventures

Prelude

Wake up darling, its time to get up."A girl opens her eyes to see her fully dressed mother gently shaking her arm. "Christien, come on, we're going on an adventure!" At the word adventure the little 8 year olds eyes opened really wide, "Really, an adventure?" "Yes, you and your friend nirvana are going to go on an adventure "She says with a loving smile on her mothers face. A thoughtful look crossed her face. "Mommy, who all will be coming with us?" "Just you, Nirvana, me and your father." Christien smiled hugely and started clapping her hands and jumping on her bed.

Nearly 2 hours later and Christien, her parents and her friend are finally at the entrance to a mysterious forest. They walked into the forest with it's tall, green and brown coloured trees. "Wow! They are so tall!" Says Nirvana who was looking up toward the tops of the trees. Both hers and Christien's eyes were wide open with excitement. They ran forward and started swinging around the trees and laughing hysterically. Two kind faced women came from deeper within the forest laughing lightly and the two younger girls excitement. "I see they're already having fun." The younger of the two women said. " Yes, it's the first time we're coming to this forest. So, I guess you're our tour guides." Said Mrs Smith with a friendly smile. "Yes, my name is Sabrina and hers is Sofia and we will be you guides for your Mysterious Adventure. "Christien and Nirvana came back toward their little group to meet the tour guide ladies. "So, you young rascals, are you ready for some fun?"Sabrina asked with an excited smile. "Yes!" Both Christien and Nirvana screamed clapping their hand . "Well we have lots of fun in store for all you young adventures, " she said. "The day will start with us walking around the forest and identifying interesting flora and fauna. We will then do an obstacle course of sorts and then we will have an amazing lunch made at The Chlorophil Tree, which is the best restaurant for MILES around and then lastly we will take a fun-filled hike up to the Magical Waterfall."said Sofia. "That sounds fun, doesn't it girls? "Said the mother."Yes"said Christien and Nirvana. "Okay then let us begin our fun, awesome day!" Said Sabrina.

Two hours later, after they had finished the walk around the group decided to sit downand have a short break before continuing onto the obstacle course. "I'll go get you people a quick snack and cooldrink"said Sofia. "Okay!"Nirvana Christien and her parents said."That would be great, Thank you. "The parents said."What would you all like to drink and eat? Remember this is just a snack to keep you going, lunch will be held a little bit later."said Sofia "What are the options?" asked the father. "To drink we have an option of grape, guava or apple juice or water, and to munch on we have packs of chips,jelly tots, dried fruit, peanuts salted, unsalted and with raisins or small packs of biltong. "said Sabrina. After they placed their orders with Sofia, Sofia left to go get the snacks and after she got back, they quickly ate the snacks and left to hike up to the place where the obstacle course was going to be held. Half way there Christien asked "Can I please go did go to the bathroom when I get there?"The tour guide ladies looked at each other slightly worriedly. There was no bathroom at the obstacle course...

"You can just go in the bushes!"Her mother told her. "No,that's gross! "Christien exclaimed back at her mother. "I'll walk her back to the bathrooms, youn can continue on with the rest of them. I'll catch up with you guys later."said Sabrina. They started their journey back to where the benches,restaurant and bathrooms were located. Christien quickly finished her business and returned to where Sabrina was waiting for her. They started their long journey back to the obstacle course but when they got there Christiens parents, and Nirvana and Sofia were no longer there, but does that mean there was nobody there?

There, right in-front of the obstacle course's's monkey bars, sat a golden,majestic, ferocious looking lion. The girls stopped in their tracks, the forest was not the usual home for a lion. The lion suddenly looked up at the girls, keen intelligence sparkled in his eyes."Don't be afraid, "he said,"I wont hurt you.My name is Sodor. I saw your friends get taken by the evil Vodo. I tried to follow them, but was unable to find their tracks. ""What!"Sabrina exclaimed,"Where did he take them?""I am not certain, but I can take you to Mystic, the fairies realm, to ask the fairy queen,Snow Drop "said Sodor. "Okay, take us." Said Christien.
