You hauled your body upright, so you were now sitting beside Sam.
"Really? I thought you might've shot me down." You replied staring at Dean through the mirror.
"Yeah, I mean that could've gone terribly wrong Y/N and we'd all be dead right now..." Dean trailed off. "But it worked and it was, like I said, pretty awesome!" Dean grinned at through the mirror. You smiled back at him, feeling quite pleased with yourself. "Yeah, well I'm going to stop praising you and you should stop boasting and get some sleep. Your head was knocked pretty hard plus we have a long drive ahead back to the bunker."
"The bunker?" You asked.
"Yeah, it's like our home. In fact, it was the men of letters' bunker and well Sammy and I are descendants of those men of letters." Dean said smugly.
"Dean , you're the one boasting now." Sam piped up, rolling his eyes.
"Oh come on Sammy! You can't tell me you don't feel the littlest bit smug?" Dean replied. Sam just shook his head, rolling his eyes once more. "Proud? no? Oh at least cool then?" Sam let out a huff and shook his head, before leaning it against the car window, closing his eyes and wiggling down the seat. "Sure Sammy."
"That is pretty cool, but I'm cooler." You said leaning over the front seat, looking across at Dean.
"Oh really and who said that?" Dean asked teasingly.
"I did." You replied, grinning at Dean like a small child.
"Mmm, and why does your opinion overrule mine?"
"Because I could beat you in a fight any day." You replied quickly. Dean looked over at you, raising his eyebrows.
"Oh really?!"
"Yep."
"Well how about we test that when we get to the bunker huh?" Dean proposed.
"Fine, you're on." You replied cheekily. You and Dean both laughed. A comfortable silence fell between the two of you, before Dean broke it.
"Go to sleep Y/N."
"But you'll be lonely." You replied.
"I'm fine, done it many a times before, besides you need your rest if you think you're going to beat me at this fight." Dean poked teasingly. You smiled, then slumped back in the back seat.
"Fine. But, wake me up when you stop for gas." And with that you laid down in the back seat resting your head on Sam's lap.
A few hours later Dean woke both you and Sam, alerting you that he had stopped for gas. You groaned as you sat up slowly, your head throbbing and your back aching- you must've slept funny.
"I'm going to the toilet and to get some snacks. Don't leave without me or I'll haunt your arses after I'm dead." You mumbled getting out of the car.
"Mmm, Sammy I think we might have to test that!" Dean said while filling the car.
"Don't test me Winchester!" you shouted back from halfway across the gas station. Dean laughed and whispered something inaudible to Sam. I walked around the back to the infamously disgusting toilets of gas stations. You went in and locked the door behind you. The mirror was cracked through the centre but it was unmistakable the mess you looked. Your hair knotted, your face smeared with dirt and huge black circles under your eyes.
Wow, I didn't even think anyone could look this bad! I was in a car with two very hot men looking like this! That's probably what Dean was saying to Sam. Brilliant. You turned on the tap and splashed your face with the refreshing water. You cleaned your face the best you could and tried combing through your hair with a varying degree of success. There was little to do to get rid of the dark circles without any makeup but sleep as much as you could, so you unlocked the door and started walking back to the car. When you reached the front of gas station, your stomach started to grumble and you suddenly realised how hungry you actually were. You glanced through the shop window and saw Dean standing before a shelf of pies looking very serious. You laughed and found your way to him in the station.
"Hey" He said to you as you approached him.
"Hey, can I get some food? I'm hungry." You asked shyly.
"Yeah sure of course. Pick what you want"
"Thanks" you replied quickly before bounding off to find food. You gathered a couple of things before finding Dean again, still looking at pies. You rolled your eyes and walked up to him. "You're still deciding which pie to have?"
"It's a hard decision. Don't judge."
"It's hard not to judge when you've been studying a pie for 10 minutes." You replied smiling.
"Yeah well it's hard not to judge you too." Dean replied, taking his eyes from the pie for first time, his smirk smeared across his face.
"What do you mean? What have I done?" You asked curiously.
"Oh, so you really were asleep, not just teasing me." Dean says back cryptically.
"What are you talking about?"
"The sex noises? The moaning? The stirring? The occasional murmur of my name?" Dean exclaimed, his smirk still plastered on his face. You felt your cheeks grow hot as your mouth dropped open. No! I didn't. Please say I didn't. I could have. Couldn't I? I never remember my dreams. Oh no.
"Wha-a-t? I-I didn't. I c-couldn't. D-Did I?" you croaked out. Dean burst out laughing and for a moment you thought he was just joking and relief washed over you for a brief moment...
"Do you not remember your dream? Damn I sure wished you did so you could tell me all about. It seemed pretty heated to me." Dean said flirtatiously.
This is too embarrassing. But did he just flirt me. That was definitely flirting, no mistake about it. Do I flirt back or run away in embarrassment?
"Well, I wish I could remember it too if it was as heated as your making it out to be."
