Dean raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised you replied like you did. You suddenly felt embarrassed and anxious.

Maybe he isn't flirting. He could just be joking. I was too forward, he obviously doesn't like me now. I ruined it.

You bowed your head ready for Dean to laugh at you and just shrug off you answer.

"I'm sorry. I'm just a little stunned. You came up with a more flirtatious, more sexy comment than I did. That's never happened before."
Dean finally said, a smirk on his face once again.

"Oh good. I thought you found it too forward. I seem to keep surprising you, Winchester. Maybe you shouldn't associate such expectations with me"

"Oh but what would be the fun without you surprising me by not living up to those expectations. It's what makes you so intriguing."

"Always so smooth, aren't you?"

Dean just laughed and turned with a lie in his hand towards the counter. You followed setting down the handful of snacks you had gathered. Dean paid for the food and you made your way back out to the car in silence. Dean chucked Sam a chicken salad and threw all your snacks onto the backseat as you both slid into the car.

"How long until we get home... Ur I mean the bunker thing?" You asked.

"Only about an hour and a half." Sam replied, his head down, studying a map.

"Sammy, there's no need for you to study that map. I know how to get to the bunker from here." Dean added.

"Fine, but don't ask me when you get lost." Sam snapped back.

"Okay, okay, can we just drove and stop arguing, I want to sleep in a bed." You said jutting in before Dean could reply. Dean just laughed and started the car. "The bunker does have beds right?" You added, unsure of the answer- the Winchesters seemed as though they didn't really sleep often and when they did, they slept where ever they were.

"Yes?!" Dean and Sam said simultaneously, both turning around to stare at you with a look that said 'are you stupid?'.

"Hey, I was just checking. I'll had a lot of new experiences recently and to be honest sleeping on a cold hard floor actually scares me the most. I need my sleep... On a comfy bed, not a layer of knives or something weird you guys would do."

"A layer of knives? I only need one under my pillow. How bad of a hunger do you think I am?" Dean replied a grin slowly creeping onto his face.

"Well I had to save your arse back there, so obviously not that good." You replied, trying to get Dean to react. He didn't, just laughed and turned back around to start driving out of the gas station and onto the road. The ride was pretty much silent all the way back, allowing you time to replay everything Dean had said in the gas station. He really was flirting! Just play it cool and let him lead, he's obviously a lot more experience than you with all that romantic stuff.
Although Sam was right about the drive being about an hour and a half, it seemed a lot longer, especially as you couldn't get back to sleep. You stayed awake, gazing out the window, seeing only a faint outline of the landscape from the light of the moon and occasionally passing a gas station. When you arrived at the bunker, you pretty much leaped out the car. Dean woke up Sam and you all trailed your way to the door. You hadn't seen anything like this before. It was well hidden, as if it were just a hill; not many people would notice it. When you got to the door, you suddenly felt weird and hesitant to go inside.

"I didn't even ask if it was okay for me to stay?" You asked, suddenly realising just that.

"You didn't need to ask of course it's okay." Sam replied, giving you a sweet, reassuring smile.

"You can stay as long as you need, maybe you could even stay for a little longer than you need and you know... Ur... Help us." Dean suggested, getting a little flustered.

"Help you?" You asked curiously. "Do you mean hunting? I thought you were the almighty Winchester brothers who didn't need anyone but each other?"

Dean chuckled before going quiet and finally saying, "Well, I just thought you might want to stay with us... I mean... Ur... I would like for you stay with us. I want to get to know you better." Dean stumbled out. You looked at him with a shocked look (you hadn't expected him to say that). "I can help you hunt better too!" Dean suddenly burst out afraid that he's scared you off.
