Finding Love..

Another restless night

I wake up to the sound of screaming and fighting, I jump up out of my bed not sure what it is then it hit me I sigh as I lay back down I look up at the celling they have been at it for days now...it seems to never end.
I thank to myself "when will it end?" I remember all the times they have said they where going to leave
eachother but still they are together I know they ain't happy it seems like everytime they see eachother they yell or something along that line.

I look at my phone to see what time it is I sigh again its 2:23am. I roll over and pull the covers tighter over my shoulders and lay my cold pillow on my head. I lay there tossing and turning for what seemed like hours then finally I drifted off to sleep.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. I reach for my phone to turn it off as I get out of bed to get dressed. After I get dressed I peek into my parents room, neither of them are in there. I walk down to the kitchen and see my mom sitting at the table watching the t.v. with a blank stare.
"Morning" I say while making me a bowl of oatmeal. She says nothing just keeps stareing at the t.v. I finish my oatmeal grab my bag and start for the door when I hear my mom say my name.
"yes?" I say as i open the door.
She studders "n..nothing have a good day at school." She says in a sad voice.
I turn around and head back to the kitchen. When I enter I give my mom a quick hug and tell her ill see her after school. She smiles and says okay.
My school is only a few blocks away so I deside to walk, I shift my bag comfortably over my shoulders I take a deep breath attempting to prepare myself for school. I love school but I also hate it, I love to learn and the teachers and I get along great...but its hard for me to make friends I have one true friend but sometimes we don't even get along I don't even know why I'm nice, I guess u could say I'm smart I have A's and B's I don't care though. I just need to get through school so I can leave all this behind.
I was so lost in thought that I didn't even see the people infront of me and I ran right into the most popular girl in school. Katie Snow.
I look up at her to mutter my appologies and the next thing I know she and all of her friends are all in my face screaming and pushing me down so i do the first thing that comes mind. Run. I turn around and run to my first class.
When I walk into class I relax when I see my friend Luke. Luke has been my friend for most of my life he is like 6'2 and is kinda like the big brother I never had. I walked over to my seat and sat next to him. I was worried when he didn't say ''hi" or "hey tiny" so I turn to him and say
"Luke? Is everything okay?" He starts to answer but hesitates and when he did answer the intercom when off. It was the principle he said
"I need macie stevens to my office."
I look at Luke with worry all over my face but he is still sad and looks away. I get up and head to the office.
