Me and Beth looked out of the window, we loved to watch the snow fall but hated being in the cold so we just watched it through the window. Suddenly Beth tensed up, she looked at me.
"Did you see? I thought my parents said we were going to be alone for the weekend." Beth informed me. I looked out into the distance, trying to see through the blizzard but it was no use; whatever she had seen was gone.
"It was probably just a deer Beth." I assured her, putting my hand on her shoulder, she nodded and looked into my eyes.
"Your probably right." She muttered then turned around, I did the same. I immediately noticed that both Josh and Chris were past out drunk on the counter. Beth smiled and walked around the counter and picked up a bottle that was right next to Josh. She patted his arm. "Once again brother, you've outdone us all."
"They both have." I said tapping Chris, he didn't even budge. Beth then walked down to the end of the counter next to the door and picked up a piece of paper. She read it quickly then put it down, suddenly somethingran passed the window...I saw the faceforna quick second and noticed it was Hannah. What was she doing running through a blizzard?
"Was that..." I started to ask but I saw Beth looked a little scared.
"That was Hannah, wake Josh up I have to go after her." She said quickly, then ran out of the kitchen door. For some reason I had a bad feeling about her leaving, but I trusted her. I ran over to Josh and shook him.
"C'mon Josh wake up, this is not the time to be sleeping." I said a little panicked but Josh only groaned and moved a little, he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. "Dammit."
I ran out of the kitchen and to the front door. When I got outside I saw everyone was looking out into the forest, I didn't see Beth. "Guys where's Beth?"
"She ran after Hannah whose out there because these guys decided to play a prank on her." Sam said a little angry, the wind blew hard and I heard the sound of my trench coat flapping.
"It's not our fault she can't take a joke." Emily said with a sheet, I didn't really like her That much but I ignored her.
"Duck, I'll be back." I said and ran off. I followed the almost covered footprints of Beth's boots, when I got further into the forest the footprints became more defined. I jumped down a small cliff instead of taking the stairs to save time, when I landed I tried to keep moving but I tripped and slammed into the snow. I was dazed for a second but quickly got up and kept running. I could hear myself breathing heavily but then I heard a noise like an...animal but it was like a loud skree sound. I stopped running for a second and stood still, trying to hear the noise again but I didn't hear anything.
I started running again, at top speed, trying to catch up to Beth and Hannah. I ran across a small little bridge but then a plank caught my foot and I hit the ground extremely hard. All the air was shot out of my lungs and I was dazed. I tried to keep crawling, trying to get to Beth, then a really bad feeling came over me. Somehow I knew she was dead, I screamed her name one last time and I passed out; the cold was enveloping me...maybe I would freeze to death.Hey guys the butterfly effect is coming your choices could get people killed or make them live...also it could completely change the story here is your first decision...will this person be rescued by the medics and police or be rescued by the pyro guy?
