Serenity

I was in such a daze I didn't realize a car was driving up. I didn't want to be bothered, all the emotion going thru was too much to handle..... Then somebody trying to holla? Are ppl serious now a days? At the same time it was something about him being caring, I looked into his angelic face and saw he was genuine is his approach.

"I'm sorry but do I know you?" Duh I know I didn't but hey I was always told I'm difficult (lol)

"No but I see a beautiful woman in need of a ride, and I'm trying help her out. Now you gone get in or a nigga gotta put you in?"

I couldn't do anything but crack a smile. Seems in the mist of my hurt that somehow God didnt forget that I existed.

"Do you promise not to hurt me? I'm a female but I'm not weak so don't think you gone try something and I'm not gone fight back"

Just then he laughed the sexiest laugh ever and that beautiful smile and his chocolate skin. Lord be with me

"Ok I promise I won't do anything but take you home, unless I can talk you into getting something to eat? Maybe?"

Serenity gets in the car, she has mace and she not afraid to use it either....

Tre'

She got into he car and omg she is beautiful with her smooth skin and her dimples, what the hell am I saying ima G, I be damn I get caught in in the foolishness of a pretty face. She prob just like the rest these hoes. Ain't nobody got time for that.

"Well beautiful, where to?" I would really like to take you to lunch tho if you will allow a nigga be nice?"

"Ummmm, sure but don't get no ideas play boi."

(Puts his hands up in surrender) "I scouts honor or whatever the shit them ppl say" and I must say you must have known you would meet me today because you matching my car (lol)

They shared a laugh, his sense of humor was so refreshing. But they have both been thru so much that even tho they wanna be loved they are still on guard. Let's see how this goes......

Nobody pov

They enjoyed the ride is was quiet but not an awkward creepy silence, they sat and enjoyed the smooth sounds of old school playing from the radio as Butta Love by Next played. Tre' kept stealing glances of her simple beauty. Tre' could tell she was in deep thoughts and once they got to the spot he was going to find out more about her. This mystery woman was foreign yet so familiar to him.

I was in such deep thought I didn't realize that we had come to a stop, I look up and we were at Cheddar's. It's crazy because its my favorite place. I looked over at him and smiled.... But he had been looking at me for a min or two.

"This is my favorite place to eat. Thank you" I said with a smile

"You are very welcome, but before I feed you I need to know one thing" he looked at me with a serious face

"And what is that?" I said with more edge than expected

"What is your name beautiful? Or I can just keep calling what is truth beautiful" he said with that sexy smile of his.

I couldn't anything but laugh lol. I felt comfortable around him and with my mind in sad mode I didn't even realize that we didn't know each others name and yet we are here for lunch.

As I was about to answer my phone rung, I pulled it out and it was was my grandma.

(Phone convo)
Ser -"Hello"
Gma - "where the hell did you disappear to? Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Im going to kick your ass, I just got out of church and you already got me losing my religion!!!! Lil girl if you don't answer meee!!!!!!
Ser - I'm sor....
Gma - Don't talk when I'm speaking you, don't get outta place
(Serenity rolls eyes) and you ass bet not be rolling your eyes. NOW ANSWER MY QUESTION!!!
Ser - I'm going to lunch with a friend, I'm not trying to give you a heart attack, no need to whoop Mr granny I'm OK, I just had to get out of there. I will call you back and we talk about it later. I love you.
Gma - its OK I'm glad you ok, and I love you too call me later, bye

Damn her granny is some serious, but I don't blame her for being so protective of something so beautiful. Damn I'm really tripping. GET IT TOGETHER TREVANE....

" everything OK?"
