"Ana does!" Haleigh protested (just like Jimmy)

"Yeah and," Jasmine said with a smirk.

"Whatever I don't have time for peasants like you."  Haleigh said with a humph.

"Anyways here is the prologue!"

Prologue

The forest of Dunela, was an odd place, most sane people avoided it. There were rumors of witches and goblins living in it, though some people entered the forest. The ones who did know of the truth of the forest, they knew of the forests hidden treasures. Now the forest of Dunela was still a very dangerous place, most who entered it never returned or if they did return they weren’t the same.

Arabella, a young girl from the village just beyond the northern side of the forest, was an adventurous young girl. She had always dreamed of entering the forest and finding out its mysterious secrets. But when she had told her parents, she had been banned from ever going near the forest again. This had only made her more desperate to see the forest, she could spend hours just looking into the forests dark depths. She had never actually entered the forest of Dunela, she had always been too scared. One day she couldn’t help it anymore and decided that she was going to find out what was inside. So early in the morning, before her parents woke, she slipped out of her bed, and tiptoed to the front door. She glanced towards her parents closed door, and sighed, she knew she might not come back but she was determined to see what the secret of the forest was. Arabella put a hand on the doorknob and stopped, she turned around. Instead she walked to the kitchen and got some food in case. She looked at the house one last time and walked towards the front door. She suddenly wanted to cry, she would miss the place she grew up at. She took a deep breath and opened the door. Arabella ran and didn’t look back, she stopped once the house was out of sight. She walked in the direction of the forest. She walked on until she saw the edge of the dense trees, Arabella took one step hesitantly. The dark trees loomed above her, hiding the early morning rays of sun. She decided to take a break and eat something, she took out the bag of chips she brought and munched on them happily. As she ate, the sun rose above the trees. She stood up and walked on. She admired the trees height, Arabella longed to climb one.

A few hours later, Arabella stopped in a small clearing. She yawned and sat down on a decaying log. She looked around taking in the scenery. She heard birds chirping in the trees, and squirrels chattering. Arabella soon smelled some smoke like someone was making a fire. She had heard things about witches and goblins living in these dark woods. There were other scary rumors as well, like blood sucking creatures, who could only come out at night. Arabella heard something in the bushes, she screamed and the creature stopped moving. There was a loud growl, Arabella looked at it and leaped to her feet. She ran away from the clearing as fast as she could, without a backward glance. She ran into something, but kept going, her terror fueling her flight from the creature. Suddenly, she was falling,

“Ahhh,” She screamed, there was a loud thunk and everything went black.
