"Flower darling stop throwing a fit and come on out for dinner," my mother says after knocking on the door.

"Mom can you come in for a minute," I ask. She bursts in with a big smile on her face.

"It was killing you wasn't it," I say.

"I thought you would never ask," she says sarcastically. "So what's the scoop little bird? I'm sorry I announced your personal matters aloud."

"It's fine mom and nothing I'm fine," I lie.

"Oh bullshit darling I'm your mother not some floosey that you spill out your drunken sorrows to at a bar. Tell me what is bothering you," she says. I sigh and Then I go into the story about Harry and I's hypothetical break up.

"Oh Flower you have to be smarter than that don't you read. Friends with benefits relationships never work," she stresses.

"I know mom."

"Especially for innocent girls like you. You all Alway fall in love," he teases.

"It's not my fault my parents made me read romance novels so now I expect a man like Jay Gatsby to waltz into my life and love me unconditionally," I say.

"I believe you've got more of a Heathcliff darling. Your boy seems a bit rough around the edges from what you've told me," she says.

"I'd have him no other way," I say in a daze as I think about Harry.

"I almost named your brother Heathcliff," he tells me.

"Irrelevant mom," I say.

"Then I would have named Arlo Gatsby ad you Jane Eyre and the twins, well they were unexpected so maybe frick and frack," she jokes.

"Enough about that mom tell me what I should do," I beg.

"Nothing honey."

"What the hell mom-"

"Language you little shit your mother raised you better than that."

"Yeah but seriously I'm confused," I say.

"Darling he sent you away so if he wants you back make him come crawling not the other way around. If you were to go back now you'd look easy and my little bird is anything but easy. You have to make it so much harder for him to get you back when you return home," she says.

"I understand," I tell her.

"I'm surprised you aren't on the phone with one of your friends," she says.

"I turned it off because Harry keeps drunk texting me. It's so annoying," I lie.

"Oh darling he is absolutely smitten by you," she says.

"I guess," I say. I continue to lay my head in her lap as she plays with my hair.

"I think every thing will work out honey. You're beautiful inside and out and if he can't see that then screw him," she says.

"Ok," I tell her.

"Now let's eat," she tells me as we go to the kitchen and eat dinner. As we are making plates Clover and Blossom walk down the stairs dressed in very fancy outfits. I stop them as the come toward the front door.

"And where might you two be going," I ask.

"It's why-", blossom starts but I cut her off before she can begin rambling.

"Blossom shut up," I say and she frowns.

"We are going to a Sundance," clover says.

"Oh have fun," I say and kiss their cheeks. "Be safe."
