As the two boys left the office, Jason balled one of his hands into a fist . Timothy watched his brother. Of all the kids, Jason had the worst temper. "Hey," he said. Jason took a breath, stopping in his footsteps. "I can't believe him," Jason said. He kept his gaze forward. He was seething.
He turned to face his brother. "He is willingly put our family in danger! And for what?!"Timothy just put his hands up. He knew better. He let his brother rant.
Jason calmed his breathing and he looked down. His hands were shaking.
"You ok, Little Brother?" Timothy asked. Looking at his hands. He had seen them shake, but not like that. It was like Jason had no control over them.
Jason shook his head. "I'm not," he said. His voice was quiet. And full of fear.
