Hey guys so this chapter may be a little too much for some people, some may feel uncomfortable. *Just a fair warning.* Everyone take deep breaths, deep breaths.
We collected the girls and led them back to the horses. Neema had created portals with ease as she now knew her way out the caves. The journey back to Andorla was a long one and filled with a tense air. The King spoke little and Alxander held a steady glare that seemed painted on his face.
Once arriving at the castle we all scattered to our own tasks. Nikoli took his fellow Knights to the training grounds but not without giving me a look that spoke many words of untruth. The King and Prince made their way inside the throne room, my guess was to inform the Queen of their eventful evening. I took the girls and led them towards the servant's route, where I sent Zamora and Zarina with a maiden mother.
My heart was still racing from everything that took place just a few hours ago. Though I still stood by my choices, the ones that led me to the girls, without having to be a part of a massacre. I watched as Lydia spoke softly to the young girls who stood side by side, their energies blending as one.
"Nasya." I turned at the sound of Liya's voice as she stood with Neema and Asani. "What are we to do? What is to happen?" Looking at them now, I realized how scared they were.
"You are to return to your homes. Your deed to the King is done."
"We cannot not leave you to him." Neema spoke bold but the tremor in her voice could not be hidden.
"That is exactly what you will do." My voice leaving no room for argument. "I apologize for putting you all in the crossfire. I should have warned you." I gave them a final look before stepping inside the room with Lydia. "How are they?"
"They seem fine. Though they won't speak." I nodded as I looked to them. Both looking at the lady in front of them in wonder. I turned to Herra who had walked in.
"Will you come find me when they are finished here?" I asked softly. She nodded with a smile. Turning to leave I was stopped by one of them finally speaking.
"You shouldn't be near him." I turned with a shiver as her rare octave reached my ears. Zarina looked to her sister as Zamora continued to speak. "Not tonight."
"Whatever punishment you See I have no doubt it will be similar to the others before it."
"You're bravery will See you dead."
"There are worse things than death." Zamora looked to me knowing what I spoke of.
I found my way to the kitchen, leaning on the wall for strength.
"You had no right to open your pretty little mouth." I jumped at the sudden words that bombarded into the kitchen. Alxander stood a few feet from me.
"What are you doing here?" My eyes nervously looked around for any other sign of life.
"I live here, while your sentence here is temporary." I narrowed a glare his way.
"I did what I know to be right." He shook his head with a malicious smile.
"I just don't get you, Nasya." I stared at him, waiting for him to speak as he seemed to step closer to me. "My father does not monitor you." My face quickly turned into a frown.
"Your curiosity is astounding Alxander, you have perfect timing when it comes to discussing why I am alive in this castle." I seethed. "No he does not monitor me, but when he brought me here he made sure that he was the only one fit to care for me and my brother.
"That is not the only reason though." I shifted on my feet. Alexander laughed humorlessly. "I get it. It's the men isn't it? The sultry of them appeals to you. Especially that new assassin of yours." I shoved him hard in his chest, livid.
"How dare you!" He restrained my wrist.
"How many men, Nasya. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one. Nor is my father. You're a whore from birth." I froze at his words, pain ripped through my heart, but was quickly replace by anger.
"You think I wanted this." I glared at him as his chest rose heavily. I slapped him across the face tears prickled my eyes. "All I've ever known is sex and magic! My essence as a women is gone. The pinnacle of my existence started with your father. I have a lot to thank him for." I spat in Alexander's face, rage had taken over.
"I want you gone!"
"Go find another house whore to mend your pride Alxander."
Suddenly there was a loud bang, we created distance from each other. King O'Siren entered the room. "Ah Alxander...and Nasya." His eyes hard. He'd been drinking. He pulled me roughly to his side. I tried not to wince as his nails dug into my skin. "Best to remember your place son." Alxander's eyes hardened at his father's words while I saw my eyes to the floor.
"I will see you later tonight." Alxander spoke before leaving the room.
"You!" I let out a yelp as he grabbed my arm and pulled me into a room. One that was small and smelled of days old bread. "I have been the most courteous when it came your life as my Seer! My whore! But now you do this!" He threw me to the ground and searched the room. I whimpered as my bare skin slid across the cobble, breaking open. "A slave is what you are and it's about time you lived like one!"
I screamed as he pulled me off the floor by my hair, his grip tight. I heard the sparks of chains as he grabbed my wrist and chained me to the walls. He then started to rip off my clothes. Tearing the cloth violently and as my body became less heavy, the more fear that crept into my heart. Almost like a countdown of what I surely knew was about to come.
"Maybe this will teach you about gratitude." With that, the last of my robes were gone from my body and I heard the rush of his own robes release from his body. I cried out as he violently entered me and I felt like I had lost my essence once more. "Maybe you want to live like the many Witches in this World!" I couldn't contain my screams of pain as he was ferocious in his goal, his hands digging into my wrist. Tears fell relentlessly down my cheeks.
When he had his fill I slid down the wall feeling nothing like a women, nothing of a Seer descendant from the true blood line. I shook violently as I bled on the cobble while my arms hung from the chains. The King took a deep breath as he neared the door.
"Three days' time is what you will spend in here. I suggest you take some time to think." He opened the door and their stood Drago. I cried harder at the sight his face. "In between your visitors." The door then shut and I was alone surrounded by darkness with a hound at the entrance.
Thoughts on this chapter in particular? Or the story? Is it dying? Should I do something different? I am in desperate need of feedback.
