I parked the car in the parking lot and hurried out. I pushed the building doors open and walked the flight of steps once again, barely breathing the whole way up. When I finally reached my apartment I unlocked the door, walked in, and picked up my phone. I knew Cindy was gonna be excited to hear this! I dialed her number and listened to the phone ring until she picked up.
" Hello? " she said groggily. " Cindy? Yeah this is Claire! Come down to my apartment ASAP! " I said with urgency in my tone. " Got it! " she said suddenly sounding more awake. And with that she hung up. I knew I could depend on her to be there in less than 5 minutes. The only time I asked her to come to my apartment was when something was important. Otherwise, I would have just told her over the phone. A few moments later I heard my doorbell ring. I opened it and ushered her into my apartment. " So what's up! " she said. " OK well you might not believe me but guess who I saw in the parking lot?! " I said looking for a guess. She thought about it for a moment and then looked at me with wide eyes. " No way! " she said in awe.
" Yes way! " I said with excitement. " And I think Dean was there! " I added in because I know how much she loves Dean. " And there performing here tonight!! " I added once more. Then she grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my apartment and walked me down the flights of steps. We looked for my car and when she spotted it she climbed in.
" Let me see your keys " she said. " Because we're going to hunt for some tickets. "
