Al's POV

First day of a new school. Douglas Public Schools to be exact, home of Terrible Tigers. It's a campus with multiple buildings preschool to high school. I know I should go inside, but I'm nervous. New school new people not my forte.

Steeling my nerves I go inside. The first thing I'd notice is how big and crowded it was. It was also very loud. As I was making my way down the hallway trying to find my way to my first hour, I was being pushed and shoved. I couldn't very well push back because of my noodle arms, chicken legs, and any other skinny and/or stringy foods you can think of.

Looking up from my map that I got from orientation day. Glancing around to see if I was in the right hallway. I felt somebody staring at me. Glancing around to see who was staring. After a minute I saw who it was. He was about 5'11 chunky with nicely cut brown, almost black, hair. He was cute. He had a friend standing next to him that had the brightest clothes on earth, it kind of hurt my eyes.

I think they noticed me staring because he quickly looked away, while the girl started to smirk. Hoping they would show me where Mr. Harris' room was I started to stride over . As I started to walk over the boy looked he was about to faint, while his counterparts' smirk only got wider. That smirk was starting to freak me out.

"Can you show me to Mr.Harris' room," I said. At first it looked like the boy, man I really have to learn their names, was struggling to answer, then a sad look came across his face.

"Yeah we can show you where it is," The girl said.

"Oh thank so much I've been so lost. I'm Al by the way." I introduced myself.

"H-H-Hi m-m-my name is uh." OMG! He is so cute! I was trying not to laugh but was failing.

"What this blubbering idiot is trying to say us that his name is Xavier and I'm his friend Alexi , not Alex I hate that name."

"That's okay Alexi I won't," I said still giggling like a school girl. "I find your stuttering kind of cute, Xavier." My " compliment " just made him blush even more. Out the corner of my eye I see Alexi trying to hold in her laugh. She was doing a very horrible job at it.

"So Mr. Harris' class anyone." I say speaking up over Alexis' loud guffaws.

"Sure let's go." Alexi says sobering up.
