Chapter Four

One Month Later-
We have been hunting ever since we left that small town in Ohio. It's been a month since my attack and now I have night terrors of that night of the vampires attacking my mom and dad and everyone I care about. I looked up at myself in the mirror at my tired eyes and my bed hair. Yeah won't get better then this. I went started changing into my clothes for the day. I took off my shirt wearing only my bra trying to find something to wear. I heard a gust of wind so I turned around and saw Cas standing there in his tan trench coat like always.
"Cas!" I said shocked he was here since I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks.
"Hello Amelia." He said nodding towards me. Then he looked down seeing I was in my pants and bra.
"Oh um hang on. I walked towards him to get a shirt from my other suitcase that's behind him. I tripped over one of my shoes and fell into Cas's arms he held me tight to his chest all I could do was look up at him as he looked down at me.
"Are you okay?" He said in a hush tone.
"Yeah just tripped." I told him softly.
"Come on Mila we have to go-" Dean said barging through the door stopping mid sentence staring at me and Cas.
"Oh my god Dean. This isn't what it looks like." I said pulling away from Cas then grabbing the closes shirt slipping it on.
"Cas.. I haven't seen you for awhile. What are you doing here with Mila?" He asked taking the big brother role.
"He was just seeing how I was doing Dean, I was changing when he poofed in." I told him putting my hair in a ponytail and standing between them.
"Well Cas we sure have missed you. Where have you been?" Dean asked coming more in my room followed by Sam.
"I have been busy." He said keeping it short. I couldn't help but look at him I stared at him for awhile till he looked down at me.
Dean and Sam looked at each there then back at us. "Look are we missing something?" Sam said. I dropped my gaze and turned back to the boys.
"No there is nothing." I told them slipping on my leather jacket.
"Cas?" Dean asked him.
"No I don't think so." He said staring at him.
I was feeling uncomfortable so I decided to break the silence. "Come on guys we have monsters to kill." I said while walking past them to the impala. They followed after me Cas meeting me first or course. I looked up at him and couldn't help but grin I looked back and saw Dean and Sam staring at us my grin shortly fell. I climbed in the back of the impala I closed the door and buckled up the boys were in by then and then Cas got in.
"Uh Cas. What are you doing back there?" Dean asked looking at him through the rearview mirror.
"I want to ride with you guys." He said staring at him back.
"But you're and angel you don't need to ride." He snapped back at him.
"He can ride if he would like to." I told him furrowing my eyebrows at him for being so rude towards him.
He rolled his eyes and started up the car. I looked at Sam who was sitting there in silence, I looked over at Cas who was staring at me I couldn't help but smile and push his shoulder.

-Sammy's POV-
We have been driving for a few hours now and Amelia fell asleep onto Cas's shoulder thirty minutes ago he hasn't moved an inch I think he's unsure what's going on.
"Cas you alright?" I asked looking at him through the mirror.
"She is asleep on me." He said.
"Well push her off." Dean said.
I looked at Dean and saw his grin. "No don't do that Cas. Just let her sleep. She'll be fine just relax." I told him.
He looked down at her and slowly moved back on the seat when he was relaxed she positioned herself where she was comfortable with her arm wrapped around his. I saw Deans grin fade.
"What's your deal dude?" I asked.
He was quite for awhile. "Why does he have to always be with her?" He said almost angry.
"Dean, you know the way he sees things is different then how we do. He don't see her as how human men do." I told him looking at him.
"I know but still. She's like the little sister I never wanted. And now we have her I just want to protect her." He said looking at her through the mirror.
"Man I know. I do too. Especially with Crowley being the way he has been lately.. But I mean look. It's Cas you honestly think he's going to hurt her?" I asked him while turning to face Dean. He knew I was right.
I looked at her and Cas and he moved a piece of hair behind her ear and never took his eyes off of her.
"Maybe he does feel for her Dean. What will we do?" I asked him.
"Keep her from him." He bluntly said.
I let a small laugh out. "We both know you couldn't do that. He's an angel for crying out loud. He can do so much more then we can." I told him.
"Well I don't know but it's not going to happen so we don't have to worry about it." He said I could tell he was getting annoyed. I dropped the subject and just turned the music up a little and closed my eyes.
"Sam we're here." I heard Dean say while slightly shaking me.
"Alright." I said. I turned around. "Cas wake Melia up." I told him. He just looked at me like he didn't know how.
"Just speak softly and slightly shake her."
He slightly shook her. "Amelia. Wake up please." He said softly to her. She let out a small noise and fluttered her eyes opened I got out of the car and joined Dean as he got his jacket and all on.
"Cas is waking her up." I told him.
"Naturally." He said rolling his eyes.

-Amelia's POV-
Cas woke me up. "We are here." He told me still staring at me.
"Oh okay. Thanks Cas." I said smiling at him.
We got out of the back seat I looked around it all seemed familiar.
"Boys. Where are we at?" I asked them.
"Stony Brook Virginia." Dean said. "Why?"
"This is my hometown." I told them in a slight whisper. Everyone just looked at me.
"What's the case Sam?" I asked walking towards him.
"People are ending up dead. No natural cause." He told us then looking at us.
We turned to face the high school I couldn't help but dread this case. We got in the building and walked down the hall a little ways and turned right I felt like I knew here we were going and hoping it wasn't true. But it was.
"Amelia? Amelia Murphy?" I heard as I walked on the room more pushing in front of the boys and seeing Sheriff Forbes.
"Morgan." I couldn't help but hug her. "It's not true is it? Please tell me she retired." I asked her with s crack in my voice. She just looked down and moved out my way. I walked a little closer and saw the lifeless body of Nancy Miller. My favorite teacher and my ex boyfriends mother. She just looked like she was just sleeping. I squatted down near her and closed my eyes I felt a hand on my shoulder and knew it was Dean.
"I'm sorry Amelia." I heard him say.
I touched his hand stood up and turned to face everyone.
"I didn't know you were with the FBI." Sheriff Forbes said. "Your father would be so proud of you."
I gave her a half smile. "How is Tyler?"
"Amelia?" I heard behind me. I turned to face the door standing right behind Cas was my first true love in his uniform Tyler. "Tyler." I whispered before going over to him to be wrapped in his arms once more.
"I'm so sorry Tyler." I told him taking in his smell.
"Why what happen?" He said peeling away from me.
I looked at Morgan shocked they didn't tell him. "Why didn't you guys call him to the station? He shouldn't be here." I told her kinda mad.
"I came to surprise my mom. I just got in." Tyler said walking in the room, I quickly stood in front of him.
"Tyler please just go to the station." I pleaded.
"Melia. No what happened." He walked past me and towards where Dean and Sam were with the other police officers and to his mothers body. I looked at Morgan then him.
"Oh god." I heard him say before falling to his knees. I quickly ran to his side and wrapped my arms around his neck trying to comfort him.
"Tyler come on you don't need to see her like this." I told him helping him to his feet. When he got to his feet he quickly clinged to me in a hug. I looked at the boys and Cas who didn't look so happy. But Tyler needed me. I wrapped my arms around him holding him tightly.
"Come on I'll take you home." I told him still by his side. The coroners were there to take her body now. The officers and the boys were behind us. Tyler gave me his keys as he got in the passenger seat. I walked over to the boys and Cas.
"Hey Tyler needs me. So I'm just going to take him home and I'll meet you at the hotel later okay?" I told them crossing my arms around my chest.
"Yeah that's fine Melia." Sam said.
"Then I'm coming with you." Cas said stepping toward me.
"Cas. No I just need to be with Tyler right now. Just me and him." I told him softly.
"Amelia you don't know him." He said furrowing his eyes.
"Yes I do Cas. He is my first love." I told him looking at him. His eyes slowly soften.
"So I will see you boys later." I half smiled toward them then walk towards Tyler's car.
-Deans POV-
"How could you say it was okay Sam?" I asked him.
"He needs her Dean!" I snapped at him.
"Trust her Dean. She said she will be back tonight at the hotel." I said getting in the passenger seat.
"I trust her. It's him I don't trust." He said looking the way their car drove off before getting in.
"Where's Cas?" I asked looking around realizing he was gone.
"Shit." Dean said.
