The 21 Pilot concert came at the beginning of fall. It was at the World Trade Center. I was deciding whether to go or not. That was the question. It wasn't that I didn't like the music, it was just because i didn't want to go alone. The choice I chose ended being a huge mistake......
As you know, stupid me gave the twins the tickets.... I could've gave it to my cousin and I wouldn't have been going alone, but I gave it to them and now I'm going alone....
We had planned to meet at the park across the trade center but I guess that's not happening...
I decided to go. I woke up at 10 and got dressed. I wore a Black fedora, black skinny jeans, a twenty-one pilot shirt, a leather jacket, and combat boots. I don't usually dress this fancy, but I had a backstage pass so I wanted to look good. I arrived at the trade center at 12. The concert would begin at 3. I had nothing to do for those 3 hours, so I just went to a bookstore. Perhaps I could get an idea. On the best seller rack the book 'Midnight Storm' was on it. Next to it was 'Daybreak' it was the second most popular story on sell. Which surprised me. Daybreak was always number one on the selling rack. I picked up 'Midnight Storm' and read it. It wasn't even that great. It was about a girl who kills her lover then falls in love with another guy and kills him, it was really predictable what would happen. Why would people choose that over 'Daybreak.' I bought the book so I could compare the two books later on. Could you believe that it was 34 bucks?!!! Like are you serious?
I finished the book in 30 minutes. Which left me 2 hours and 15 minutes left. I was going to just buy food and just eat it in the park across the trade center and have a picnic alone but then I saw 2 people I DID NOT want to see In the library. Can you guess who?? It was Alexandra and her brother, Mason. I tried to avoid them running across the outside ninja style. But then Mason saw me. Blehhhhhh
"Oh hey! What a coincidence to see you here Julia" Mason said acting all surprise. What a nuisance. He obviously knew I would be here! I gave them the tickets.
I faked a fake smile and said hi.
I then walked away."WAIT!!" Alexandra stopped me before I left. "Want to have lunch with us? It's on Mason."
Was she faking to ask forgiveness so she could just laugh in my face again? Well I'm not that stupid.
"No thanks I ate earlier."
I tried leaving again but I was stopped again by Mason.
"On me, it's the best I could do for the tickets."
I ended up getting dragged along. We went to a cute cafe picked out by Alexandra.
It was silent for about three minutes then the waiter arrived, "May I take your order she asked us?"
"I would like a salad with no onions please" ordered Alexandra
"Could I have a black coffee with a petit sandwich please" I ordered
Then Mason ordered a hamburger with a large side of fries. He wasn't so scared of what people thought of him, not like they needed to. He was the grades idol!
When the waiter left we had short conversations (not like I was intending that😌). They first asked me what I've been doing for the past few months and so on. It hasn't been that long since I last saw them. But whatever.
Our food arrived 10 minutes later and we began eating. It was total silence for 5 minutes. I could hear the man next to us scoffing his hamburger down.
