Chapter 1: Pilot.
Kartik Roy was suffering from a hangover. His head felt like it could explode any moment now.
He ran a hand through his hair, puffing his cheeks as he left out a blow of air.
Last night had been wild. He had gone to a club, ready to rock someone's world.
And he met the perfect girl there. The girl who was going to make him forget everything just for the night. Kartik's type exactly.
Because that's what he needed. He had to get the one night stands outside his system once and for all. So he was set out on the mission.
And he met her, The Girl From The Bar.
Kartik rumpled the sheets and looked at his side. The girl was sleeping soundly, snoring softly. Kartik couldn't see her face as she was facing her back to him. Her lavish ebony mane covered her face so it was hard to get a good look.
He felt a certain curiousness to see this girl's face.
Last night had been phenomenal. He had surely gotten the one night stand out of his system but he didn't mind meeting this girl again.
As much as Kartik remembered through his drunk state, they actually had fun talking.
A wave of disappointment rushed as Kartik remembered that he was no longer allowed to have relationships. He had agreed to his father' proposal of arrange marriage and now Kartik was regretting his decision.
Knowing that there was no way he could get out of the deal he made with his Dad, Kartik got off and wore his clothes quickly.
The rule of one night stands, you don't wait for her to get up and then have breakfast together.
Kartik picked up his Tommy Hilfiger watch off the night stand but while doing so, he also brought down the lamp.
Cursing, he picked it up and looked at the girl.
She shifted around bit and then continued snoring evenly. Still, Kartik couldn't look at her face.
Seeing her sound asleep, Kartik figured he could take the risk of freshening up.
He gargled and washed his face. He popped in a mint from his pocket and checked for his wallet in the back pocket. The only thing remaining was his jacket.
Kartik looked around the room and sighed when he saw the brown leather jacket lying on the floor, beside the sleeping beauty. He bent over to pick it up and couldn't help but see the girl's face.
Locks of hair covered her face. The strands over her mouth bounced up and down softly as she breathed in and out.
Curiosity got the best of him. Kartik tucked the hair behind her ear and looked at the girl.
She was actually a beauty. She didn't have an exotic look. She had a long nose which led down to her plump lips. She had a mole right above her upper lip. There was a scar on her right jaw which was faded yet permanent.
Kartik wanted the girl to open her eyes. He wanted to see the colour of her eyes.
He didn't remember them. He barely noticed them last night. Her moans and pleasure were the only thing that mattered to him.
But now, he actually had a feel of wanting to know this girl.
This was his cue.
Kartik got up but again kneeled down, just for one last look.
Her beauty still left him amazed. He didn't realise he had been holding his breath all this time.
He softly traced her cheek, ignoring his subconscious that was yelling out CREEP to himself.
