Chapter 2
After we were done picking on each other we got to training.
“Why are we training again?” Alex asked. We all groaned. This is the 5th time he asked this.
“We have to help Casey not become such an easy target to Rusty anymore.” Kayla said.
“I know but why do the rest of us have to train it makes no sense.” Trent said. Macey glared at him.
“Are you boys really that stupid?” Macey asked. The boys shook their heads.
“We all have to train so we aren’t the next target to Rusty.” Macey said.
“Ohh.” The boys said. Boys these days are so stupid sometimes. I don’t really understand the training thing but I guess I just have to deal with it.
“So what kind of Training are we doing?” I asked.
“Ok so we have to teach you how to fight which Kayla, Alex and Cole are teaching you. Next is teach you how to talk back which I will help with and Nessa.” Macey said.
“Hey what about me?” Trent asked. We all looked at him.
“Help teach the fighting thing.” Gina said. “Wait what am I doing?”
“Well what are you good at?” Macey asked.
“I will help when I needed I guess.”Gina said. We laughed. It was time to train!
5 hours later
“Are we done yet?” I asked. I been back talking and fighting for the last 5 hours and I’m sweating like no other.
“Yep we should be.” Macey said. I got up just to be taken down again by my best guy friends.
“What the heck!” I shrieked. Everyone laughed.
“Sorry Case.” The boy’s said.
“Well get off of me I’m starving.” I said. The boys got off of me and helped me up off the ground. I ran to the kitchen and got a pan out.
“What are you making us?” Everyone asked. I Glared.
“Boys make us pancakes please.” I said.
“Why should we make you guy’s food?” The boys asked. I looked as the girl’s and smiled. I turned back to the boys and put on my puppy dog eyes and pouting face. The boys groaned. Wow I guess the girls caught on.
“Casey your puppy dog eyes and pouting face always works.” Nessa said. I laughed.
“I believe Macey was helping have you seen hers! It looks just like the one the cat does in Shrek.” I said. We all laughed.
“Ya it does I can’t deny it.” Macey said.
“Yep my Babe is the best pouter ever!” Cole said. Macey rolled her eyes.
“You guys I need a boyfriend.” I said. Nessa smiled.
“And no Nessa I will not got out with Dylan.” I said.
“I wasn’t gonna suggest him he’s scared of you.” Nessa said.
“Ha-ha someone scared of Case that’s just too funny.” Trent said. I glared at him.
“Hey I can be scary if I wanted to.” I said standing up for myself. Macey smiled.
“See look you standed up for yourself.” Macey said. I smiled.
“Waiting why am I training to fight?” I asked.
“Well it’s for self defense just in case someone tries to hurt you.” Trent said. I smiled.
“Why are you guys so nice to me?” I asked.
“Pancakes are ready!”Alex said. I ran to the fridge and got the butter and the syrup and the jelly. I grabbed a plate and 2 pancakes. I put butter on both of them and put on with jelly and the other with syrup.
“Case you are so weird with pancakes sometimes.” Gina said. She got her own plate and got 2 pancakes and put butter and syrup on them.
“Well school tomorrow and that means Rusty tomorrow.” Macey said. I groaned.
“I don’t like Rusty he’s so mean to me he calls me fat.” I said whining.
“Suck it up kid.” Alex and Cole said.
Nessa’s P.O.V
I hate that Rusty guy but I know his secret. But I promised my step brother. Yep I said it Rusty is my step brother and no one knows but our parents and us. I got to tell you Rusty talks about Casey all the time. It’s annoying hearing your step brother drool over your best friend it’s just gross.
