Hi, I have been a member for many years now, this was a story from my pre-teen years, you shall get an updated version very soon! But for now, enjoy some tips that just aren't as polished as I would like them to be.

You have come to Wattpad, you're searching for something on this application and you're not sure what it is, or have some form of understanding on what you're going to do on here. When I first joined this app early twenty thirteen, this has brought to my attention that the application has evolved over time, the simple tricks of the trade do not work anymore, back in my day we couldn't add gif's to a story but look at me now.
So you've joined this application, you have either joined to read, write, explore, join a community, either way, you have joined for some personal purpose. I joined to write, but very quickly I had learned that there were many other talented writers and it was going to take me a long time to climb the latter, in my entire time of being on Wattpad I had written 8 different stories that I personally didn't enjoy writing, I felt as if I was pushing chapters out of my bottom because that's what the people wanted, I even pretended to be obsessed with the band One Direction. I was also quite envious, my friend had just joined and she wrote a novel on here and it got popular straight away sometimes it takes hard work, dedication or simply the luck of the draw. Yet upon having a look through out the clubs, I wouldn't have learned that I had a passion for Graphic Design.
Surely you joined this application to become a famous writer or you joined to make friends or fit in with your friends but after some few weeks or maybe even months you really do find you're calling on here.
So this is my first tip to you newbies out there, do not become envious of other people and why are they so famous? I work just as hard or don't be a horrible person, that won't get you anywhere, searching through the clubs, make friends and continue to expand on your stories because you will come to find that some and quite a lot of stories blow up when they're completed or about to be completed!
If you do want to improve on your writing there is a critique section and they will surely help you improve, you might even get a few hooked on your stories!
Just remember to have fun on this application, it's a great community.
