Chapter 45- 1 Year Later

1 year + a couple months later

Emily POV-

"-I love you." Riker just made a big speech.

"We will be in the car, sweets." Riker hugs me, before walking out of the graveyard, to the car, with Mason.

I rub my 3 month pregnant tummy, as I sniffle.

"Today marks the day of a year. A year without your smile. a year without out your giggle. A year without you. I miss you so much, baby girl. You made me smile, when I was so sad. You made me smile everyday. I miss you and your little sassiness you get from Aunt Rydel. I miss everything about you, Baby. I remember Uncle Calum, and Aunt Rydel would always come help me when I needed help with you. I can't believe you're gone. You lightened up a room, every time you walked in one. Everyone loved you. We all still love you, very very much. I remember when you first got sick. You were weak sometimes, and you puked often. I can't believe I didn't notice it was cancer. I'm so sorry baby. I watched you fight for your life everyday. And everyday I had wished that we could switch places. I would've done anything to switch places. I can't believe I won't get to watch Daddy walk you down the aisle. I can't believe I won't get to watch you have your first baby. I can't believe anything that happened, happened! Oh baby. I miss you so much. I love you so much, baby girl. I have to go, but I'll visit soon. Alright? I love you."

I get up, and slowly walk to the car, as flash backs play through my head, of the time Mia was still alive.

"Mommy? Can I go play with Tori?" Mason asks me, as I get in the passenger seat.

"Of course." We drop him off at Rydel and Ellington's, before driving back to our house.

"Wanna watch old videos?" Riker asked me, as he hugged me.

"Sure." I sniffle, before plopping on the couch.

My phone suddenly rings. It's Catie.

E- Yes?
C- What no hello?
E- Really.
C- Sorry.
E- Whatever, what do you want?
C- I wanted to tell you Chloe said your name today. Kinda.
E- That's good!
C- yes. Um, Em?
E- What?
C- We miss her too, you know.
E- I miss her so much.
C- I know, I know. Want me to come over?
E- Nah, I'll be fine with Riker.
C- okay. I love you, we love you.
E- love you too, bye.
C- Bye, girl.

"It's her crawling, talking, and walking." Riker sits down next to me, and puts his arms around my pregnant stomach.

"MOMMA!" Little Mia had yelled, and chased after TV me.

I guess I fell asleep, cause the next day Riker was shaking me awake.

"Huh?" I sat up, and my eye sight was blurry for a second.

"R5 is going on a Goodbye tour!" Riker tells me.

"That's great! When?" I question him, as I rub my eyes.

"In a couple weeks." He smile was from ear-to-ear.

"Riker I think I should stay home for this one. I want you to have fun when you're on tour, I don't wanna drag you down." I explain with a sad look.

"No no no. You're coming. You, Mason, and I are getting a separate bus, we are sharing with Rocky and your sister. The fans want you to come! Also, I can't stand almost a year without you."

"A year?!" I yell.

"It's all around the world. It's a goodbye tour. We aren't making music anymore, and this is our last tour." Riker explains, and sits next to me.

"Alright. I'll go." I playfully roll my eyes, as he attacks me in kisses.

"Hello!" Rydel and Ellington walk in with Tori and Mason.

"Hey." I rub my stomach, before I hug Mason.

"So, did Riker tell you were going on a Goodbye tour?" Rydel asks, and sits by me.

I nod, and lay my head on her shoulder.

"You miss her?" Rydel asks me, and pets my head.

"There's not a day that goes by where I don't miss her." I whisper, as Ellington, Riker, Tori, and Mason go outside to swim.

"We miss her too, sweetie."

"I just wish I could see her one more time." I tell Rydel.

"Mommy!!" I hear a voice yell.

"Rydel, did you hear that too?" I asked Rydel.

"Yeah. I did." We both stand up, and look around the room.

"Mom! Auntie Rydel! I'm by the TV.." A voice yells.

I look to find Mia, in ghost form

"Rydel.." I whisper.

"Shhh. Don't say anything." Rydel shushes me, and walks closer to her.

"Don't touch me, or I'll disappear right away." Mia snaps.

"Alright. I'm so confused." I tell the two.

"Mom, I'm hear to say goodbye. I love you, and I heard what you said at the graveyard." Suddenly I heard Riker gasp from behind me.

"Mia Marie?" Riker walks closer to her.

"Don't touch her." I slap his hand away, and he backs up towards me.

"We said goodbye to her. She said she will be watching over us. I actually kind of feel better." I tell Rydel. Riker went back in the pool with Ell.

Rydel and I are currently sitting on lawn chairs.

"I'm glad I said bye too."
